"You knew from the start we could never be together. You could've ruined the best thing that's ever happened to me, and for what? What could you possibly gain out of this? Respect, an unhappy relationship, recognition you don't deserve? Well forget it. You won't get it from me." I picked up my wedding dress storming out of the wedding hall.

How could I not've seen this coming?

That Morning...

Author's POV

Zendaya turned over in her temporary bedroom. The knocking on her door was getting louder and louder until the doors sprung open. Claire walked through followed by Zendaya's nieces, Law and Zendaya's glam squad. "Happy wedding day!" Claire squealed jumping onto Zendaya's body. The brunette let out a groan, covering her head with the pillow.

"I'm not ready to get up yet," Zendaya whined as her mother snatched the blanket up.

"Too bad, you have to. You're getting married today, and you have to start getting ready," Claire said kissing her daughter's cheek. Zendaya sat up leaning into her mother's arms. She looked around the room watching the glam squad set up the make up stations, and then it finally hit her. She was going to be someone's wife, queen (of sorts), and possibly even mother. It was all happening so fast. "I'm really happy for you Z. I know it probably looks like a lot, but you'll be so happy in the end."

Zendaya smiled up at Claire. "Thanks momma. I really appreciate it," she said hugging the woman.

"No problem baby. C'mon, you have to shower so we can get hair and make up done."

Lauryn's POV

I sat in front of my desk, looking over my vows to Zendaya once more. I never thought I'd actually marry a crush of mine. Well Zendaya is more than a crush now that I think about it. I really do love everything about her; and granted we don't know much as an engaged couple should, I do love what I know. I love her care for her family, and those that she loves. I love her work ethic and while some people might find it annoying, I love the perfectionist in her. And God her smile...is so absolutely breathtaking. Everything about her is breath taking, and it makes me so anxious to see her.

A knock at the door interrupted my thoughts. "Come in!" Rena walked in with my sisters and glam artists close behind.

"Hi LouLou!" China exclaimed, squeezing me in her arms. Sierra joined in on the hug, kissing my forehead. "I'm so excited for you! Can you believe it? You're getting married today."

Sierra and I giggled at our little sister. "Mom says she'll be up after she checks that everything is going smoothly downstairs." I nodded, folding my vows and putting them in an envelope with Zendaya's name on it. I turned towards everyone in the room.

"I guess we should get started."

...

"You look beautiful baby," my mom said as I walked from behind the changing screen in my room. I held the skirts on my dress from in front of my feet to keep me from tripping. I stood in front of the body mirror, overlooking my dress. I feel content with what I'm doing. I'm doing this for my new country and for my future wife. We're going to be happy with each other.

"Aww, my little sister's getting married," Sierra said wrapping her arms around me. I couldn't hide the blush on my face.

"Y'all stop it. It's just another day," I said helping Rena secure my crown in my hair.

"But it's not. It's the day you interlock your life with someone else's forever." Thanks mom, that's not making me anymore nervous at all. I sighed looking over myself once more. "You have another thirty minutes before we have to get downstairs. Do you want something to nibble on first?" I shook my head.

"I'm too nervous. Can I have a minute by myself?" Everyone nodded and slowly dissipated from the room. I sat down in front of my desk, grabbing a paper and pen.

Zendaya's POV

A knock sounded off on my door as Law helped me into my dress. "One second," my mom shouted out for me. She walked over to the door, peeking her head out. I couldn't hear what she was saying but I could see Rena standing in the doorway. "Z this is for you." She handed me an envelope with my name on it.

I sat down on my bed as Law tried to finish the last of my hair.

Dear Zendaya,

So today's the big day huh? I know we got into this really fast, and you're probably just as nervous as I am (maybe not cause I'm kind of a wreck), but I want to assure you that we got this. I know we do. As long as we stay honest with each other, I know it. By the way I got a glimpse of the puppies in their ring bearer suits, and they are to die for. And even though I haven't seen you yet, I know you look beautiful or no etherial. I can't wait to see you walk down the aisle in a few minutes.

I love you,
Lou Lou

I couldn't help but get a but teary eyed, and Law immediately began to panic. "No sweetie no," he said frantically trying to fan the tears before they could roll down my face.

"I know, but I can't help it," I said dabbing my eyes with my fingers. "I'm sorry," I apologized with a smile.

"Aww she really makes you happy, doesn't she?" I nodded smiling even wider. "Well then I think it's time we take one last look in the mirror and make our way downstairs."

Author's POV

The music began and one by one everyone made their way down the aisle. The two had agreed they wanted to walk down together so as to give both of the equal attention. Finally it was just them in the hallway, and they were speechless.

Lauryn looked absolutely gorgeous in her ballgown shaped wedding dress. Her hair was in a half up half down do; and instead of a veil a chiffon cloak train ran down from her shoulders. Zendaya couldn't form any words . All she could do was smile.

"You look beautiful Z," Lauryn said intertwining their fingers as she looked over Zendaya's simple yet elegant bohemian dress. Her hair was in loose curls and a veil was wrapped into them.

"So do y-you," she stuttered.

"You ready?" Rena handed the two their bouquets signaling their entrance.

"As ready as I'll ever be." The double doors swung open, and the couple stepped out arm in arm. Here comes the bride played on a strong organ as they glided down the white aisle.  Zendaya looked around the room, smiling at her family. She awwed at the two puppies in their suits with the ring pillows attached to their backs.

She turned to Lauryn her smile dropping at Lauryn's panicked face. The brunette met her betrothed's eyeline and stopped in her tracks. At the end of the aisle stood Brie with a wide smile, clad in a white suit and curls.

The music stopped and everyone began to murmur. "Z-Z I-I-"

"Save it," Zendaya dropped her bouquet, walking back down the aisle with tears running down her face.

"Zendaya wait!"
