Once all struggle is grasped, miracles are possible.

SIX MONTHS LATER...
Lucia Salazar's POV
I went out of the bathroom after I took a test. I saw my husband for half a year now pacing the floor of our bedroom restlessly. He stopped devouring the bedroom floor and stared at me expectantly once he get the sight of me coming out of the lavatory.
"Well?" He said eagerly, his eyes filled with excitement, anxiousness, and curiosity. "Do you have the result, mi esposa?"
I only managed to nod as I held the white rectangular thing in my hand tightly. Tears threatened to fall on my cheeks due to overwhelming happiness. "It's two lines, Diego."
He frowned at me slightly, he was searching answer in my face. "Is that a good thing or bad?"
I smiled at him lovingly, I presented to him the pregnancy test kit. "It means that I am pregnant. We're going to have a baby again—"
I squealed when he suddenly spin me around with his arms around me. "You don't have any idea how this news pleased me immensely, my love."
"Put me down!" I giggled happily. "I am starting to get dizzy. Diego!"
He slowly brought me back to my feet. I still could feel that the floor was still slightly spinning beneath my feet. I held for support in his strong shoulders. "This is very good news to celebrate." He devilishly starting to unbutton my dress. "I know a very good way to celebrate."
I slapped his hands playfully from their exploration. "Stop that. This is not a good time for your persuasion. Do you want us to be late for Anton's first birthday party?"
My husband smiled at me seductively, he run his hand on the side of my ribcage slyly. "How can you be late to a children's party? I am sure your brother and his wife will not even notice that we are late? Besides, the entire club members are here. They will be busy entertaining everyone including their newest recruit."
Now that Diego mentioned it I couldn't help but grin. "I cannot believe he joins the group."
My husband looked grimly at the thought. "Well, you can't say no to them even if you don't want to join they will find a way to have your name listed in their club especially Marco."
"You might be right." I nodded in agreement.
"Now about a little celebration of our own before we attend our nephew's lavish birthday party?" He suggested alluringly, his eyes held unholy light in their depth. "I think you will like it, mi Lucia."
"No," I told him sternly, at least I tried to look firm in his direction. "I don't want to be late and be the subject of their merciless teasing again. You do know very well how your club mates' mouth works. "
Diego stared at me for a long moment before taking a deep breath. "Very well." He gave in, buttoning my dress again. "This might be a good opportunity to tell them our very good news. I cannot wait to see their reaction."
"Wait..." I stopped him from his tracks. "...can—can we just keep this information to ourselves for a while?"
"Why?"
I bit my lower lip as I stared at him unsurely. "I don't want other people to know yet that I am pregnant again. What if I cannot carry this baby again on full-term like the last one?"
Compassion crossed his handsome face. He cradled me in the curve of his arms and held me tightly. I felt that he kissed the top of my head. "Oh, please don't ever think about that again. Nothing will happen to this little miracle God gave us. I'm sure that our little angel in heaven whispers to the Almighty's ear that it's time to bless us with another baby to love, Lucia."
I couldn't help the tears in my eyes as I heard his words. I still don't know why I deserve such a guy in my life and how strong and dependable he is. He is my soulmate. The love of my life. He drew me back to wipe the tears from my face. "Don't cry, my darling love."
"I'm just happy," I told him honestly. I don't think I could be this happy in my life. I couldn't imagine my life without him in it.
"Then we better go and attend Anton's birthday party." He led me outside the door of our bedroom. Once we were in the living room I couldn't help but be amazed at how cozy our cottage house was. It was a wedding gift from Leandro at first Diego was against the idea that my brother was thinking of building a house for us here in the estate but with Leandro and Leila's persuasion he finally gave in.
The house was quite far from the main house since Leandro think that we might want some privacy from the manor but it was only a short drive from the main household. There was no stay-in staff at our request. We did most of the chores on our own but once a week a maid from the main house comes to 'inspect' if the furniture wasn't yet covered by thick dust or do we still have clean kitchen utensils. All in all, I love our simple and private life.
"Are you ready to mingle with our friends and family?" he asked when we slid inside the car. He helped me to secure my seatbelt before he did his. "They will bombard us with never-ending questions once they learn that you are now expecting."
I smiled at him lovingly. "Ready as I'll ever be."
He leaned towards me to give a lingering kiss the kind of kiss that silently telling me what to expect tonight before he sped the car on the way to the manor. This is how life should be, I thought to myself. Surrounded by family, friends and of course, I man who loves you with all the ups and downs life has thrown in your direction.
