Rescued (Hal Jordan)

Coast City Mine

Green Arrow and Black Canary went to the Coast City Mine and saw Hal Jordan getting beat by an ice sculpture of Carol Ferris.

Black Canary looked at Green Arrow commanding him to do something, "On it." Green Arrow replied. He shot the sculpture of Carol Ferris with a flame arrow and the sculpture burned down. Hal looked up. He saw Green Arrow and Black Canary standing next to him.

"Ollie?" Hal asked.

"Hi Hal, I came here to help you." Green Arrow said.

"With what? I was getting what I deserved." Hal pouted.

"No, it wasn't your fault Carol died, this was all a game." Green Arrow told Hal. "Captain Cold set you up."

"What do you mean?" Hal asked.

"This wasn't real, Carol wasn't really alive, Cold got some fear gas made by Scarecrow and used it one you." Green Arrow said.

Hal's eyes turned red, "I'm going to kill him!"

"No you won't, but you will help us stop him." Black Canary replied.

"And who are you supposed to be?" Hal questioned.

"I'm a hero like you." Black Canary said, "And we are going to stop Lex Luthor and all the villains helping him."
