Chapter 6: Who's Dating Who?

Abbie’s P.O.V.

“Shawn’s my boyfriend,” I said. The minute those words left my mouth all the guys hopped up and started cheering. Wow I guess they really wanted us together. I just smiled and looked up at Shawn. He was already smiling at me. Our lips were just about to touch when Nash and Taylor pulled us apart and led us outside.

“Okay you two there will be plenty of time to get it on later, but right now we need to celebrate!” Taylor exclaimed. I just laughed.

“I know! Let’s go to Starbucks!” Hayes yelled.

“Yeah!” we all cheered.

We arrived at Starbucks, ordered our drinks and sat down at a table. I was sitting in between Shawn and Cam and Shawn draped his arm around me. “You are so beautiful,” Shawn said and it caused me to giggle.

“Well I may be beautiful but you are the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful person I have ever met,” I said, this caused him to blush. I leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips. I was about to pull away but he grabbed my face and pulled me back in. The kiss was just starting to heat up when I heard a very familiar voice call my name.

“Abbie?”  I heard. I looked up and seen the last person I wanted to see

“Jake?” I said questionably, hoping it wasn’t him.

“What the hell are you doing? Why the hell are you here kissing some other guy and hanging out with a bunch of guys? I never thought you would cheat on me,” He said.

“What are you talking about? Come here,” I said standing up and dragging Jake outside.

“What are you doing here and why are you embarrassing me in front of my friends like that?” I ask.

“I’m sorry babe I just can’t believe you are kissing another guy,” Jake said.

“First of all, don’t call me babe. Second of all, I can kiss whoever I want you aren’t my boyfriend anymore,” I said really wanting this conversation to end. I was just about to walk off when he grabbed my wrist, shoved me up against the window, and kissed me. I pulled away but it was already to late. I looked in the window and all the guys were getting up and walking out the door.

They got outside and Shawn came up and pushed Jake. “Shawn stop!” I pleaded. He turned and looked at me and I looked into his rage filled eyes. I looked over at the other guys who looked just as angry as him.

“Abbie, is this the guy you were telling us about?” Shawn said. I bit my lip and slowly nodded my head and that is all it took for the guys to explode. They were all yelling curse words and threatening Jake. I didn’t know what to do so I just decided to do what I did back home when people wouldn’t listen.

I laid down on the sidewalk and took a deep breath and screamed. Everyone stopped yelling immediately and looked at me. I grabbed Aaron’s hand and he pulled me up. “Now that I got everyone’s attention, would you please listen to what I have to say?” I asked. They all nodded with terrified looks on their faces. “Good. Now no one is going to kill anyone. I want you guys to stop okay? I don’t know why Jake is here but there is no need to be threatening him you got it?” They all nodded again looking down at their feet and their faces filling with sadness and regret. Jake just stood there with a stupid smirk on his face.

“And as for you. I don’t want you to come around here again. I don’t know why you came here in the first place but I want you out of here.  Also wipe that stupid look off your face,” I snapped at him. He quickly frowned and stomped off. I turned and looked at the other guys. They all braced themselves for me to yell at them again. Instead I smiled and jumped on Shawn. He stumbled backwards a little but quickly regained his balance. He smiled at me and kissed me. I got down and turned to the other guys they all gave me a hug.
