Chapter 14: To Tell or Not to Tell

Hayes’s  P.O.V

Cameron and Sami came up with a plan to get Shawn and Brittney separated so we could find out why Abbie really left. So far the plan is working since Cam said that Sami is with Brittney and they left. Nash, Matt, Cam and I are standing out in front of Shawn’s room right now and all the other guys are in there. We walk in and all the guys greet us. “So guys all the girls are having a girl’s day and so we thought this would be the perfect opportunity for all of us to have a guy’s day,” Nash said.

“Yeah!!” all the guys cheered except for Shawn who just sat there staring off in to space.

“Shawn did you hear us?” Matt asked waving his hand in front of his face.

“What?” Shawn asked snapping back to reality.

“All the girls left to have a girl’s day so it’s just us guys,” Cam said.

“All the girls? Even Brittney?” Shawn questioned.

“Yeah! Now we finally get to hang out with you without Brittney hanging all over you,” I said.

“So what are we gonna do?” Aaron asked.

“We could go grab some food,” Carter said. All the guys started to toss around ideas, but Shawn was staring off into space again.

It looks like Cam forgot about what we were supposed to do so I guess I will just carry out the plan myself. I walk over to him and sit next to him. “Hey Shawn you alright? You haven’t been yourself since Abbie left,” I said.

“Do you think we could go talk somewhere else and talk?” Shawn asked.

“Of course,” I said and we walked into my room.

“First off I just wanted to thank you for being there for Abbie and helping her when I didn’t. Also, I do believe Abbie and I know that Brittney made up the whole Abbie cheating thing,” He said.

“If you believe her then why did she leave and why are you still with Brittney?” I asked.

“Abbie didn’t leave she is still here.” “Really? Well where is she?” “That’s the thing…”

Shawn’s P.O.V

Right now I am with Hayes explaining to him what happened to Abbie and he is just staring at me completely shocked. “Why the hell are we still here? We need to go tell the guys! Better yet, we need to go tell the police!” He was yelling.

“Well let’s go tell the guys,” I said and we headed back to my room.

“Hey there you guys are!” Johnson yelled. Everyone turned and looked at us.

“Guys Shawn has something to tell you and he needs to hurry,” Hayes said.

“Well what is it?” Cam and Nash asked.

“Abbie she didn’t leave. She is still here, but in this cabin in the woods. She and I were talking a couple days ago when something hit me in the back of the head and knocked me out. When I woke up I was in this dark room and so was Abbie. We were in there for a while when a couple of people walked into the room. It was Brittney and Jake. Apparently Brittney got Jake to kidnap Abbie and was planning on hurting her or killing her or something. I wasn’t supposed to be there so Brittney said that she would bring me back with her. I didn’t want to leave Abbie but she gave me this look that said that she wanted me to go so I left. That is why Brittney was all over me these past couple of days so she could make sure I wouldn’t tell.” I explained everything and all the guys started yelling about how they were going to kill Jake when they got their hands on him.

“Guys! We can discuss this later! Right now we need to go tell the police!” Hayes yelled. All the guys nodded. We grabbed our things and headed out the door to find the nearest police station.

Abbie’s P.O.V.

My body was so sore from the beating that I just got from Jake. I don’t know if I will be able to survive this anymore. Just then Jake walked in. “Is it time for another beating already?” I asked. Probably not my best move but oh well.

“Oh no I think I would give you a break from your beatings. I actually have something else in mind,” He said with a smirk. I don’t know what he was planning but I don’t like that look he just gave me. All of a sudden Jake is on top of me and kissing me down my neck.

Oh no I know exactly where this is going. It is exactly how it happened a couple of months ago. Oh please don’t let this happen again. I could feel the tears running down my face. He was now trying to take my shirt off of me but it was kind of hard since I crossed my arms over my stomach.

“Move your hands,” Jake commanded. I was so scared and I knew that if I didn’t do what he wanted he would beat me again and I don’t think I could make it through another beating.

I removed my hands and he slipped my shirt off. He got off of me and stood and removed his shirt. He then ripped my shorts that I was wearing off. I was now just laying there with only my bra and underwear on. I wish he would just hurry up and get this over with. He got back on top of me and started kissing me again.

“Please Jake just stop this! You know this isn’t you. Just please stop!” I begged. He just smirked down at me.

All of a sudden the door was kicked down and in came several police men. “Freeze!” They all yelled. Jake quickly got off of me and tried to make a run for it. He didn’t get that far before he was tackled to the ground. A couple paramedics came in and rushed over to me. They handed me a really large jacket and a blanket. I would have put my clothes back on but they were laying in shreds on the floor so I just put the jacket on and zipped it up.

The paramedics had to carry me out on the stretcher because I was so week plus my ankle may have been broken. They put me in the back of the ambulance and were about to close the door when someone stopped them. A man who was maybe in his late 20s got on. “Hi Abbie I am Detective Morgan and I would like to ask you a few questions about what happened is that okay?” I nodded my head and he started asking me questions. “Okay so what happened while you were there?”

“Um well I would stay in this dark room until Jake would come in there and and-“ I said before blacking out.
