Chapter 19: Kissing and I Love You

Abbie’s P.O.V.

It took me a minute to register what was happening and as soon as I realized that Jack was kissing me I quickly pushed him away from me. “WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? WHY WOULD YOU-Shit!” I said when I realized everyone was out in the hallway.

I looked over at Shawn and you could visibly see his face turning red with anger. Before I knew what was happening Shawn had Jack pinned against the wall. Shawn drew back his fist to punch him in the face but Cameron and Nash pulled him back before he could.

“Why the hell would you kiss her man? She is MY girlfriend!” Shawn said, putting emphasis on the word my and struggling to get out of Cam and Nash's grip.

“Look man I am sorry. I just couldn’t help myself. Abbie is just so beautiful and I don’t know I just did it,” Gilinsky said.

“I never wanna see you near her again or I swear I will-“

“Enough!” I shouted, “Come with me.” I grabbed Shawn and led him down the hallway to the elevator. We got in and I pushed our floor number. It was absolutely silent in the elevator except for the damn music they play all the time.

Once the elevator doors opened we walked to my room and walked in. “Sit,” I ordered Shawn while pointing at the bed, “You just need to calm down. What you did back there was unnecessary.”

“What I did back there was unnecessary? How the hell was it unnecessary when one of my best friends is kissing my girlfriend? Why the hell are you defending him?” Shawn said, obviously still furious.

“I’m not defending him! All I am saying is that you overeacted a little. Yeah what he did was wrong but you didn’t have to go all Psyco on him,” I said trying to calm my voice.

“I did not overreact and what he did wasn’t just wrong, Abbie. Do you like him? Is that why you are defending him?”

“Oh my gosh I am not defending him! And why would I like him when I am in love with you?” As soon as I said that I quickly clamped my hand over my mouth and my eyes went wide.

“You’re in love with me?” Shawn questioned. All signs of anger washed away from his face and it was replaced with one of his adorable goofy grins.

I smiled shyly at him and said, “Yeah I am but this isn’t how I pictured te-“ Shawn smashed his lips on mine and he picked me up and spun me around.

When he set me down I couldn’t help but giggle and blush like an idiot. He pulled me into his arms and he leaned his head down to where our foreheads were touching. “I’m in love with you too,” Shawn said still smiling.

“Really?”

“Really,” he said and kissed my nose, my cheeks, and everywhere else on my face while I giggled the entire time. “We should go out and do something just the two of us.”

“Like what?” I asked.

“Um I will think about it and give you a call in half an hour when I have all the details, okay?”

“Okay.”

We both walked out of the room hand in hand bumping into everyone in the hallway.

“Is everything okay?” Sami asked worriedly.

“Everything is just fine,” I said smiling up at Shawn.

“Listen again I am so sorry and I-“ Gilinsky started to say before getting interrupted by Shawn.

“Hey it’s okay I shouldn’t of reacted the way I did just don’t let it happen again.”

“It won’t man I promise.”

“Does this one look okay?” I asked Sami, Mahogany, and Clary. Shawn had called me twenty minutes ago to let me know the details of the date. He wouldn’t tell me where it was he just said to wear something fancy and he would meet in an hour. I already had my hair and make up done I was just deciding on what dress to wear and Mahogany, Clary and Sami were no help at all.

”Eh I don’t really like that one.”

“I agree.”

“Yeah it just isn’t a good color for you.”

Ugh! I stopped back into the bathroom and stripped off the dress. I put on the like 50th dress and walked out. “How about this one?” The dress was a strapless light blue dress that came down mid thigh and the top half was covered in diamonds and other jewels while the bottom part flared out.

All the girls stared at me wide eyed and their jaws dropped to the floor. “OMG!! That is definitely the one!!” Sami squealed while the other two girl nodded with smiles on their faces.

“Oh thank god!” I said. I slipped on a pair of black high heels right when there was a knock on the door. “That can’t be him can it? He is twenty minutes early!”

“Calm down I will check,” Clary said, calmly getting up and opening the door to reveal Hayes.

“Abbie you need to come with me. Shawn is over there freaking out and we can’t get him to calm down!” Hayes said.

“Okay okay I’m coming,” I said as I grabbed my phone and quickly put on the necklace Shawn gave me.

We walked over to Shawn’s room and walked right on in. As soon as we got in we could here Shawn pacing and saying things in a worried and panicked voice. “Bro just calm down!” Aaron yelled at Shawn.

“I can’t! What if she doesn’t like what I have planned for her? What if she bails on me?” Shawn said.

The boys still had not noticed me standing there so I walked closer to the group and cleared my throat letting my presence be known. All the guys heads snapped in my direction and they all stared at me wide eyed and their jaws were hitting the floor just like the girls’ did previously.

“Close your mouths! You’ll catch flies!” I said to them while Hayes started laughing at their reactions, “Shawn are you ready?”

“I-I uh I y-yeah I am! You wanna go?” He asked blushing. I smiled and nodded. He walked over and took my hand in his and we walked out the door.
