~°~°~°~°~Melody's POV°~°~°~°~°~

I can't believe they left all the hard work up to me! And on a Saturday night too! Ugh!

This was so typical of them...

I always found myself struggling to fit in with them. It was my dream to have a group of close friends. And I thought I finally had it. However, I had been backstabbed so many times before, I couldn't help but jump to conclusions over little things I notice.

Whatever. I'm probably over-thinking and reading to much into it. They probably didn't even realize what they did. Or, they could possibly be doing me a favor since they know I like being in charge of things.

A smile breaks across my face as I contemplate that option. If that is the case, then they know me so well!!

I will admit, I might be a bit of a control freak... I wouldn't have to be if people were dependable and didn't procrastinate or be late or... Well, you get the idea.

Aggravated at myself for being so insecure, I sit down at my computer and begin the process of research.

B...T...S

I type into the Google search bar. Within seconds; thousands of images, articles, and videos pop up under search results.

This might take a while...

~6 hours later~

The sun has long been gone, yet I cannot seem to drag myself from the screen. Instead of focusing on the Japan aspect of the trip, I found myself binge-watching music videos and fan videos dedicated to the seven-membered boy band.

While I am not able to understand a word they were saying, I found myself intrigued about the dynamic within the group and the spell they managed to cast on their millions of fans.

I justify myself falling down this rabbit hole in order to be prepared for the meet and greet. We would be meeting them face to face after all, and it would be rude to walk up and not know who was who. However, this part of research hardly seemed like work at all.

I glance down at my notebook which I had written summaries about each member, for the girls to study later.

Kim Seok-jin: (Jin) 24, Eldest. Parental Figure. Food Provider. Dad Joke Enthusiast. "Worldwide Handsome".

Min Yoongi: (Suga) 24, Sarcastic. Always tired. Rapper. Amazing work ethic. Amazing smile. Funny. Great hair. Introvert. Might know more English than people think...

Jung Hoseok: (J-Hope) 23, Hyper. Border-line annoying. Funny. Colorful. Lead Dancer. Strong facial features.

Kim Namjoon: (RM) 22, Group leader. Super Smart. Fluent in English. Clumsy. "God of Destruction".

Park Jimin: (Jimin) 21, Handsome dancing boy. Great dancer. Abs. Amazing voice. Sweet face. Eye smile.

Kim Taehyung: (V) 21, Pretty Boii. Looks a lot like Junkook at first. Gucci Gucci Gucci.

Jeon Junkook: (Junkook) 19, Completely innocent. Youngest. Literally good at everything.

I feel my eyes growing heavy as I check the clock. It's past midnight. I reluctantly close my computer and crawl into my bed. Once under the cozy covers, I put on my headphones and listen to more of their music which lulls me into a deep sleep.

~°~°~°~°~°Author's POV°~°~°~°~°

The week flew by faster than the girls thought it would. Literally, seven days turned into three due to the fact that they forgot to consider the 16-hour flight from Dallas to Japan and that they had to be in Osaka a day before the concert. Luckily, the station called checking in on their progress and gave a heads up Tuesday night.
