"Five more minutes left"
The students in the room groaned at the lecturer's reminder but still focused on quickly finishing the task that was at hand.
It was CAs week, a week which most students despised or felt agitated towards, and honestly I couldn't blame them. But for us seniors it was a different case, since having CAs, meant that the last days to our graduation were quickly approaching.
My already written paper and pen laid on the desk before me. I had finished responding to every question a few minutes earlier, so in order to kill time I opted to watch our supervisor, Mr Finn, walk up and down the hall as he observed for any suspicious activity from the students.
Bored with his constant pacing, I glided my gaze across the various heads until it settled on a familiar blonde one. Kina was sitting in the front seat, and by the looks of it she still seemed to be occupied with the test paper.
Honestly, she was supposed to have finished before me considering the little time I had to revise when I returned from my day out with both Alessio and Diego.
Given the late hour at which I arrived at the apartment, I knew Kina must have had questions about my whereabouts, since she had been expecting me home, however something told me that she already had an idea of it.
"Alright, time's up"
Hearing the lecturer's voice announce the end of the test, I immediately stood up alongside the others while grabbing my test paper and then rushing down the aisle to drop it on Mr Finn's desk.
As I made my way towards the entrance of the hall, my eyes looked around, searching for Kina's familiar figure but given the large number of students in here, it was a difficult task to find her.
Finally getting out of the class room, I began walking down the busy school hallways, deciding to meet her in the parking lot but that plan was quickly discarded when I spotted her just a few steps away from me.
"Kina!" I called out to her.
Hearing her name being called, she stopped and turned around, searching for the person who had called her, once she saw me, Kina smiled.
"I was looking for you" she told me when I got closer.
"Yeah me too but it was hard, considering the population today" I said, glancing around.
Resuming our steps towards the school's entrance, Kina asked about my performance on the test, something that she usually did.
"It was alright" I answered, " You know that Management is one of my favorite courses, so I had no problem with it" sighing I continued, "Economics is the only course I am not looking forward to"
Kina chuckled "And that's what we are having the next day"
"I know" I groaned out, seriously hoping that the hours remaining were going to be enough to prepare myself against tomorrow.
As we got closer to the exit, I saw Mrs Winchester, the school's vice chancellor standing outside her office, her presence wasn't what left me currently perplexed but the person that was in her company.
"Isn't that Alessio?" Kina questioned.
Not taking my gaze off of them, I asked. "What is he doing here?"
Seeing the VC returning to her office, Kina shrugged, "I guess there's only one way to find out"
Despite voicing out my protests, Kina dragged me alongside her towards the unsuspecting tall man standing there. Getting closer to him, Alessio looked up and finally took notice of our presence.
