Madam Silverclaw reaches us a lot faster than we expected. I barely have time to jump back to avoid her strike, and Essix almost gets hit by Madam Silverclaw's second strike. We barely have time to recover as she quickly lashes out at us again. This time Essix dodges, Madam Silverclaw's attention is focused on Essix just long enough for me to land a punch and a roundhouse kick.
Madam Silverclaw skids backwards and kneels down on one knee holding her side. When she looks back up at me, all I can see is this wild hatred in her eyes. She smiles creepily then starts laughing like a crazed maniac.
"Whoah She has totally lost it." Essix whispers to me.
"Her rage has finally driven her insane..." I say.
"Sooo...what are we supposed to do now?" Essix says awkwardly "Because she's starting to seriously creep me out here."
"I'll tell you what you're going to do now." Madam Silverclaw says while standing back up "You're going to rot here with me for eternity!"
"Pshh, that's what you think you crazy hag." Essix replies.
"You won't be so cocky in a few minutes whenever the Nightmare crystal is charged." Madam Silverclaw says.
"Nightmare crystal? Wait, you don't mean..." I start.
"Yes! That Nightmare crystal chunk I embedded in your shoulder long ago is going to awaken, and when it does, your friend's hopes of living go with it! You'll be my perfect soldier of darkness; you've already felt a small fraction of its influence before!"
My heart almost stops. "So this was her plan all along. She wanted to get transported here so she could activate that crystal and use me so she could conquer all of Orea!" I say through clenched teeth.
"You always were my favorite warrior in training. So smart, strong...ruthless. It's only fitting that your friends and the whole world see what you really are." Madam Silverclaw says.
I clench my fists "I am not your toy anymore. I'm not going to stand here and let you do this."
"You don't have a choice. I already activated the crystal. You'll never be able to deactivate it before you're under my control."
"Oh yeah? Well clearly you don't know us!" Essix says while pointing her sword at Madam Silverclaw.
Suddenly I feel this sharp pain. I wince and put my hand to my chest. It doesn't last long but I know exactly what it is. It's the same feeling I got when I blacked out fighting Anzo. And the power that fuels it is coming from directly below me.
"It looks like her transformation is already beginning. Oh this is so exciting!" Madam Silverclaw says.
I look at Essix and somehow she gets what I'm saying without me having to say a word.
She nods at me "Go do what you gotta do. I'll hold her off."
"Thanks Essix. Be careful she's tough." I say.
"Essix smiles and gives me a thumbs up "Don't worry I got this."
I don't waste any more time. I jump off the landmass we're on and I fall straight down into the black abyss below me.

Sooo...
I've been out of the game a long time now and for the upteenth time I apologize. Life hit me hard for a while there and I was struggling so it was hard for me to keep it together let alone write a chapter. But I'm ok now for the most part. I think I'm about to draw this story to a close shortly.
But other than that I hoped you guys enjoyed the chapter! I'll try to get the other chapters out a little bit sooner than this one!
