Startled by the sudden intimacy, Y/n stood frozen. Felix sure had grown in confidence since he'd found out she was a fan and got to know her a bit. Noticing her reaction Felix pulled away and frowned. "Earth to Y/n? I haven't broken you have I?"

She shook her head to snap herself back to her senses and said a little shakily, "Sorry, kinda spaced out for a second there. Must be the stress." Y/n averted her eyes and walked behind the counter, needing to put some space in between them so that she could sort out all her swirling emotions. "Why don't I take the orders and you serve them/clear tables?"

"Yeah sure," Felix gave her a weird look, not convinced by her nonchalant facade. Trying to alleviate the sudden tension, Y/n suggested that she put on some 'bops' for them to jam out to. He agreed enthusiastically and before long they were back to their light-hearted teasing and wide grins.

After rush-hour had subsided and the café was empty other than them, Y/n turned up the music even louder. Soon a dance battle ensued with the skill level ranging from the classic fortnite moves to some pretty impressive technique, including a flip from Felix. Exhausted, they collapsed into a heap on the floor, laughing hysterically.

"Damn Felix, I knew you were a good dancer but that flip at the end was insane! I hate to admit it but I think you won that round."

"Haha thanks, you weren't too bad yourself. Do you dance often?" Felix shuffled towards her and leaned in, interested to learn more about the intriguing girl who had made his heart pound even before they started dancing.

Y/n nodded in response, "I've been dancing since I was five so it's always been a big passion of mine."

"Which style is your favourite?"

"I really love ballet and hip hop, which is kind of ironic since they're so different. I've also always wanted to try Latin and Ballroom but never had the chance."

Felix loved the light in her eyes that shone as she spoke about dancing. "That sounds fun, maybe we could learn together?" He forced his tone to sound light and carefree but he was serious. Just the thought of Y/n being his dance partner made him feel all tingly inside.

"Would you even have time with your busy schedule?" Y/n asked hesitantly, unsure whether it was a genuine suggestion.

"I could make time," he began, "for you."

For the second time that day Felix had completely stunned Y/n. She stared into his eyes trying to assess his intentions. For a moment, neither of them said anything, just looked at each other with a mixture of hope and uncertainty. Just as she opened her mouth to say something, her manager entered the café. Wow. She truly has impeccable timing. Y/n thought. She shot up and bowed, nudging Felix to do the same.

"Manager-nim, I hope everything's okay now?"

"Yes, it's all sorted. How did you handle it here?" She gave a pointed look at Felix who was slowly picking himself up from the ground and seemed a little pissed by her sudden appearance.

"I think we managed rather well, actually. Everything went smoothly, right Felix?" She smiled fondly at him.

"Yes," he agreed, dragging his eyes from Y/n's, "there weren't any problems."

"Good. Well thanks a lot kids. You can go now, I'll finish up here."

Grateful to leave, the pair hurried out of the café giggling together like children, happy just to be in each other's company. They stopped just outside and Felix turned to her, the usual mischievous glint back in his eyes.

"You know," he started, "I think we make a pretty good team you and I."

"I'll have to agree with you there. We certainly know how to have a fun time." Beaming at one another and reluctant to part ways just yet Felix asked which way she was going. Y/n pointed right and his smile grew even bigger.

"Me too. Walk with me?"
