All heads whipped round to Felix. "W-what?" he stammered, "It's already dark and you have nowhere to go. It makes sense. You can just stay and hang out with us tonight, right?"
Chan thought for a moment, then nodded. "You're right. It's the best thing to do in this situation."
"Does this mean we can stay up watching movies and all sleep in the living room together?" Seungmin implored cutely. Y/n smiled at his puppy-like tendencies and suddenly had the urge to pat his head. Instead, she turned to Chan, troubled.
"Are you sure it's alright? I'm not going to get you in trouble, am I?"
He lightly squeezed her shoulder comfortingly, "Don't worry, Y/n - you're always welcome here."
And so it was decided. They were going to have a "proper sleepover" as Jeongin called it. The group began gather around the TV, trying to decide what movies to watch.
"Oh MY gosh!" Y/n spotted a certain collection of DVDs shoved at the back of the shelf, "Is that High School Musical!?!"
Chan laughed nervously and looked at the floor. "Maybe?"
The Korean members shared confused glances, "What's High School Musical?" Jisung asked.
A gasp escaped Y/n's lips and she looked absolutely horrified. "It's only my entire childhood (excluding Disney, of course). High School Musical is an absolute classic." she locked eyes with the Aussies, "We have to educate them." she continued in a deadly serious tone.
Felix chuckled disbelievingly, "Are we really going to spend the night having a HSM marathon?"
"Yes" Y/n answered with a deadpan face. Chan and Felix turned to each other and shrugged. No one could resist the Wildcats of East High ;)
Finally, everyone had settled down on the sofas and floor, surrounded by an abundance of blankets and cushions as the opening credits of the first movie began. However, this was short-lived as the three who knew the songs were soon up and performing a dramatic re-enaction. Y/n - a Gabriella with two Troys - would flit between them, spinning and singing like no one was watching, often clutching her heart and staring off into the distance dreamily. Meanwhile, Felix and Chan did some great dramatic air grabs, snazzy basketball moves and their best tortured teenager expressions. Before long, Jisung was jumping up and down with them in all the excitement, despite not knowing any of the words, he still attempted to sing along. Go My Own Way and Bet On It were particularly chaotic. HSM and the havoc it caused reigned for the next few hours, with everyone getting involved with plenty of gusto and there was a rather heated debate over which characters each of them were most suited to. It was agreed that Woojin would make a great Gabriella and that Hyunjin should be Sharpay but no other decisions could be made. Towards the end of the third movie, Y/n and the members had utterly exhausted themselves. They snuggled back down into the blankets to watch the rest in peace.
Y/n had sat on the floor in front of Felix, her head resting on his knees. Absent-mindedly, he began playing with her hair, weaving the soft strands through his fingers, plaiting and un-plaiting sections. A smile spread across her face as she leant into his touch, her eyelids fluttering closed. Felix's fingers froze. "Don't stop" she murmured, "I love people playing with my hair." Felix swallowed and he hesitantly resumed running his hands through and detangling any knots, savouring this moment with her, just as she relished in the feeling of his fingers intertwined with her hair.
As the closing credits began to play, Chan got up and declared that it was time to sleep. When Jeongin started to protest, the leader gave him a pointed look. "No arguing, I've seen you yawn at least three times in the past minute and we have loads of things to do for tomorrow's schedule." Grumbling, the members proceeded to get ready for bed. Chan briefly disappeared and then returned holding an oversized T-shirt.
"Here." He thrust it into Y/n's arms, avoiding her gaze and cheeks blushing furiously. "It's the biggest one I could find so it should be fine for you to wear."
The blush must have been contagious because now Y/n's cheeks were on fire too. She nodded silently with a shy smile and went to the bathroom to change.
A few minutes later, Y/n emerged. Her cheeks were still bright red and she tugged at the edges of the shirt, trying to pull it down. Thankfully, most of the members were too busy fighting over spots to sleep in and yanking blankets off of each other to notice her. Then she felt someone pull a hoodie over her shoulders, still warm from their body heat. She turned her head in surprise to find Felix, now jumper-less, with his eyes fixed firmly on the ground and hands lingering either side of her collarbone. He cleared his throat, dropping his hands and his eyes flicked to hers and then quickly away again. "Wear this." he spoke quietly, with a gruff voice, "Keep warm."
