Y/n was sprinting down the streets towards the café, determined not to be late for her shift again. Plus she'd been so distracted by thoughts of Felix recently, her manager had scolded her for daydreaming so she didn't want to make anymore mistakes. He had been so sweet walking her back to the uni accommodation the other day and implied that he'd come to visit her at the café again. She wanted to see him again and, although she wouldn't admit it, she kinda missed him. As she reached the last stretch with just 1 minute to go she increased her speed, hurtling around the corner and --- CRASH. She ran straight into the chest of someone coming out of the café, almost knocking their coffee out of their hands.

"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry, I was just in such a rush and I - "

"Hey, hey. Breathe. It's alright. Accidents happen."

Y/n looked up to see Chan smiling down at her kindly. She found herself breathless - and not just because of the running. Had she really met two members of Stray Kids in just two weeks? That was crazy. Then Chan asked if she was okay, bringing her back to reality.

"Oh um yes, I'm fine thanks. I er, I actually work here and would like to offer you a free treat of your choosing as an apology."

"Don't worry, that really isn't necessary."

"No, no - I insist. I'll feel guilty all day otherwise."

"Mmm... okay then." Suddenly his eyes lit up as if he'd had a great idea. "Can you be my treat of choosing?" He asked, tilting his head to one side with an overly-innocent expression. Truthfully he found Y/n rather endearing and thought it might be fun to tease her bit. He succeeded in flustering her as Y/n choked and went bright red, giving him great enjoyment. Do these boys really have to be so attractive and flirty? Trying to ignore his comment she continued, "There are these incredible new cookies which you simply have to try. I would 100% recommend."

Throwing his hands in the air and slopping the coffee a bit he exclaimed, "You've convinced me! Cookies are always a must." His cheeriness was contagious and Y/n couldn't help giggling a little. "I completely agree. Why don't you come inside with me and I'll make sure to get you the biggest one?" she said with a wink, his ambience making her feel comfortable around him already. Chan nodded and followed her in.

"I'm Chris by the way." He introduced himself and, although she was fully aware of who he was, Y/n didn't say that she already knew. Instead she replied with, "I'm Y/n. Nice to meet you."

"You're very pretty."

"I'm really not."

I think you are."

Y/n radiated this bright energy and, although petite, her presence was huge. Many heads turned to her in admiration but Y/n, oblivious to her effect, rolled her eyes at Chan's repeated compliment. She had never believed her appearance was anything above average but it was her smile which made people's hearts go soft. Combine this with her kindness and good humour and she practically glowed.

After debating which one was the biggest and had the most chocolate chips with Chan, they finally decided on one and Y/n handed it over.

"Voila!" she said, "Your apology cookie."

Grinning from ear to ear and bouncing excitedly Chan took it, his eyes sparkling. He reminded her of a child and she felt personally attacked by all of the feels he was giving her.

"Wow. You look really adorable right now." Y/n blurted and almost immediately regretted it. Oh dear. I should have kept that to myself.  Chan looked up from his cookie sharply, his smile growing even more.

"You think? On a scale of 1 to 10, how adorable do I look?" He even did a bit of aegyo.

Y/n laughed loudly. Oh well. It's happened now, might as well roll with it . "Hmm...," she took a moment to think, "a solid 8 I reckon."

"Damn, I must be really adorable."

Nodding towards the cookie, Y/n changed the subject, not wanting to confirm that he was, in fact, really adorable. "Aren't you going to try it? I want to see your reaction."

Hearing this, Chan took a large bite. His eyes widened as he chewed and he made approving noises, giving Y/n an enthusiastic thumbs up.

"What does it taste like?" she asked, curious as to what he would say. After swallowing, Chan smacked his lips loudly and answered, "Like heaven."
