Before you read this chapter I want to point out this book will be sexual, and things will move fast but that's for good reasons, so you have been warned!

There was just something so interesting about serial killers.

What made them snap?

What made them desire for blood?

Was it their horrible childhood?

Was it for sex?

What made them tick?

Nobody knew why exactly Ted Bundy murdered those woman in the 70's and 80's, nor did they know why Jeffrey Dahmer decided to eat his victims.

They knew that Jeffrey Dahmer wanted to see how their body would react to acid, but they didn't know why he killed.

David Berkowitz killed because he claimed a dog told him to, but what exactly snaps in their mind that makes them decide, "oh I'm going to go kill the first person I see today," was that normal?

No, but to them, yes.

Brooke found it so interesting. She liked watching documentaries and reading about serial killers because half the time they looked like people from your local church or somebody who you passed at the store.

She wondered how many people walked by Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer and had no idea what went down behind closed doors.

It might sound strange, and weird that a teenage girl found this subject so interesting, but it was fascinating and an addiction that Brooke couldn't get out of.

Hell, she even listens to a murder podcast called 'My Favorite Murder' a podcast where these two hilarious girls talk about, you guessed right, murder.

This wasn't something that Brooke normally shared with anyone besides her mother, so just imagine the look of surprise on Brooke's face when Xavier sat down on the couch in the theater room next to her with a bowl of popcorn in hand, a smile on his face when his eyes drifted over to the movie that was playing, 'My Friend Dahmer' with Ross Lynch as Jeffrey Dahmer.

"I didn't know you were interested in this sort of things too," Xavier said popping some popcorn into his mouth sending her a smile.

Brooke shrugged her shoulders and nodded her head. "Yeah, I find these sort of things fascinating."

Xavier smiled liking her answer and offered her some popcorn. Brooke gladly accepts the offer and takes a handful and lays some on the blanket that was currently covering her pajama shorts.

The two sat in silence for awhile just watching the movie silently enjoying the other's company. Brooke could smell Xavier's cologne and she would take a deep breath every now and then addicted to the way it smelt, it was like it awakened something inside of her.

Normally Brooke wouldn't creepily smell a guy, but it was kind of hard not to when Xavier was nearly getting closer to her body every five-minutes it seemed. But did that bother Brooke? No, not really. In fact it kind of made her nervous.

Brooke was awkward when it came to the other gender, sure she had male friends but her male friends were nearly attractive as Xavier was, nor did they scoot closer to her every five minutes.

It was probably one of the reasons why Brooke has never had a boyfriend. Sure she went on dates, but she never found a guy that quite met her expectations. Most of the guys at her school thought mostly on sex and even though she wasn't a virgin, she didn't want just sex in fact, she wasn't even ready for a relationship.
