Brooke awkwardly sat at the dining table the next morning with a bowl of Lucky Charms sitting untouched in front of her.

Everybody was sitting at the table, including Xavier, but nobody was talking and Brooke couldn't tell if that was a good thing or not.

After what happened last night between Xavier Brooke felt embarrassed and was nervous to even be in the same room as Xavier. Normally Brooke wasn't very sexual around boys mostly because she wasn't drawn towards them nor did she find the appeal of wanting sex like every other teenager out on the world.

Of course when she lost her virginity to one of her close male friends it was awkward like no other and Brooke avoided him like rotten milk, especially when not even a month after they did the deed he came out gay and started dating a guy on the baseball team, Brooke straight up thought she turned Matrix gay, but that wasn't the case he just wanted experience even if it was wrong of him to lose his virginity to Brooke.

Brooke's only had sex that once and ever since then she made it a promise that she wouldn't have sex until she honestly found someone who she could actually see herself with.

"Are you alright Brooke? You haven't touched your cereal." Dianna asked her face laced with concern as she looked at the teen girl.

Brooke looked up from her bowl with a fake smile on her face nodding her head. "Everything is perfect, I just stayed up really late last night." Which wasn't a lie, the little incident that happened between Xavier and Brooke kept her up all night that she only got about an hour of sleep before she was woken up to Ciara jumping on her bed screaming to wake up.

Dianna nodded her head in understanding and turned her attention towards her sons who were eating the oatmeal that Dianna made for them. "Xavier, why don't you and Liam show Brooke the city? I bet she would like that, wouldn't you like that sweetie? You guys could even take Ciara." She gushed.

Brooke tensed up as she heard Dianna's suggestion not even wanting to glance over at Xavier to see what his reaction was. Instead, she looked down at her bowl, cleared her throat and put that same fake smile on her face that she's been wearing since she first arrived and nodded her head.

"Sounds great,"

Dianna smiled while bringing the spoonful of oatmeal to her mouth. Brooke took a small bite of the cereal, her nose scrunching up in disgust at the soggy texture before pushing her chair back and grabbing her bowl, she doesn't wait to see if anyone was going to say anything about her departure or anything like that and walked out and towards her bedroom.

Her body was aching to just curl up in bed while watching old episodes of 'The Office' until the sun was going down, but of course, Dianna wanted Brooke and the kids to go exploring probably so that she and Hank could have sex, but who was Brooke to judge? She didn't want to be in the same house as them so getting out of the house would be great especially since they wouldn't be with them.

Sighing, Brooke walks over to her closet pulling out a gray crop top that had an alien with a piece sign and black high wasted short shorts. She than walks to the bathroom plugging in her straightener while grabbing her make-up bag and looked herself in the mirror.

Her blue eyes didn't have any sign of happiness nor life in them, probably because of Hank, and her once shiny chestnut brown hair looked dull and boring.

Maybe she should dye her hair? It would be something new for her since she's only ever has had her natural hair color, it could spice up her summer before college.

It would be the start of something new.

By the time Brooke was done getting ready, there was a knock on the door followed by the sound of small footsteps on the carpet before stopping in the bathroom revealing Ciara standing with a smile on her face wearing a pink and blue toddler jumper, her curly brown hair pulled into two pig tails.

"Hey C, what's up?" Brooke asked the girl with a smile as Ciara walks into the bathroom and looking up at mirror jumping up to see what was on the counter.

"Nothing, Xabier told me that I needed to go get you and take you to his room."

Brooke furrows her eyebrows tilting her head to the side. Did he know? "Did he say why?"

Ciara shook her head taking her hand practically dragging her out of the bathroom and down the hall to where Xavier's room was.

Brooke made sure she kept up with the little girl so that she didn't fall down and take Ciara with her causing them to get an injury.

"I'm going to go get my prize now Xavier!" Ciara screams once she and Brooke enter his bedroom, soft music playing in the background.

Brooke turns around to ask Ciara where she was going but the door softly shuts in her face before she could ask.

"Rude," Brooke mutters crossing her arms over her chest.

A low chuckle makes Brooke jump and turn around, her blue eyes landing on Xavier who was sitting on his bed strumming his guitar, the tune of 'All the Angles' by My Chemical Romance  coming from each stroke.

Brooke clears her throat standing up straighter as she looks at Xavier with no emotion showing on her face.

"What do you want?"

Xavier doesn't say anything right away as he finishes the last note he was on before setting his black acoustic guitar down on the king sized bed shooting Brooke a lazy grin.

"Easy," Xavier said standing up slowly walking over to where Brooke stood in front of the door. "You."

Before Brooke could even realize what was happening, her back was shoved against the door and Xavier's soft lips smash against hers in a heated kiss.
