They are the elite: the people to be, the group to be a part of. They are The Ivy League. Laughter, tears, obnoxious pranks, love and betrayal; with Courtney, every moment is one to remember.
Review:
This book was an unexpected find, and it sat in my library for a few days before I started to read it. But when I started, I couldn't stop. I winged a rather important Chemistry exam simply because I could not put this book down, so to speak. And yeah, that isn't a good thing, so please, read this when you don't have anything important to do in the near future.
Beautifully written, Courtney is a character you wish you could be, with sass and verve, but perhaps toned down. Courtney's story is amusing, with savage opponents in the form of the leader of the Ivy League, and schoolyard rituals designed to humiliate. Who knew kids could be so ruthless?
Sadly, this book hasn't been updated in like 8 years, but I do recommend checking out this author's other work, too. A particular favourite of mine is: Their Paid Girl. It is a truly beautiful story, of a girl who does what she has to to get by. A story of desperation and saviours in the form of clients. Really, check them both out.
