Thor had just finished cleaning up the mess his teammates made when he spotted Loki carrying Kara over his shoulder. The latter was muttering profanities and the former simply smiled as he walked.
The God of Thunder raised his eyebrow.
"Brother, what ever are you doing to Lady Kara?", Thor inquired, making Loki halt.
"I am not doing anything to her, Thor.", he replied, rolling his eyes at him.
"You better behave yourself, or else-"
"What? You'll tattle to Odin? You're treating me like a child.", Loki cut his older brother off. Thor just smirked.
"I am not the one who has to prove himself worthy.", the blonde god retorted, crossing his arms over his chest. Loki scoffed and turned around, marching to his room.
"LET ME GO, YOU PATHETIC ASGARDIAN!", Kara's voice could be heard even in the dining room.
Thor just chuckled at this and walked towards the couch, wanting to watch some television when Natasha, Clint, Tony, Wanda and Steve blocked his way.
"My friends! Join me and let us binge-watch the Gaming of the Thrones!", Thor boomed, raising his arms un the air with a huge smile on his face. Tony grabbed the remote and shut the TV off.
"Hey! Do you not want-"
"First of all, it's 'Game of Thrones". Second, aren't you forgetting, Point Break?", Tony asked, removing his shades. Thor's eyebrows met in confusion.
"I'm sorry. What?"
"Hello? You're supposed to tell us the 'history' between your brother and the newbie?", Clint said matter-of-factly. Natasha nodded in agreement.
"Why don't you ask Loki or Lady Kara yourselves? Do you not have tongues of your own?", Thor inquired, trying to get back the remote.
"You tell us.", Steve spoke, though it came out as more of a demand. Thor smiled. "Nope."
Wanda rolled her eyes. "Vis!" And in a flash, the android appeared in front of them, holding Thor's Mjolnir.
"Give my hammer back!", Thor whined, lunging at Vision, who simply made himself intangible; thus, making Thor fall through Vision and slam on the floor.
"Not until you tell us.", Natasha added with her arms crossed, all six of them looking down on the God of Thunder.
Thor groaned. "Fine. I will narrate to you their story. But you swear to me that you tell no one else."
They all nodded and proceeded to the couch to make themselves comfortable as they listened to the blonde god.

At the first Avengers' facility (formerly known as the Stark Tower)"I refuse to accompany you, brother.", Loki spoke irritably, slumping on one of Tony's love seats. Thor sat opposite his brother.
"Come on, Loki. I know you and Jane haven't been on good terms, but this time, she's bringing a friend with her.", Thor persisted.
"Ooh, what's that, a double date?", Tony teased as he passed by the brothers, shoving a TicTac in his mouth as he finished.
"Of sorts.", Thore replied, which made Loki's eyes widen.
"WHAT? I am NOT going on a date with some pathetic, stupid mortal-"
He was cut off by a pillow hitting his face.
"You do not dare speak of Midgardians that way.", Thor scolded, pointing his finger at Loki, who just rolled his eyes in response.
"You are coming with me. That's final. Now, wear some Midgardian clothes in order for you to blend in.", his older brother uttered, leaving his brother and heading for his own room.
Halfheartedly, Loki shut his eyes and focused on what he desired to wear. He hated casual Midgardian clothing, but could tolerate the fancier outfits like suits.
Thor came back in a casual attire, much to Loki's dismay. His older brother was wearing green shirt under a black hoodie, topped it with a grey denim jacket and partnered it with blue denim pants.
Loki, on the other hand, was wearing an all black suit. The God of Thunder raised an eyebrow at this.
"Loki, I think you might be overdressed for this date.", Thor commented.
"I wear what I want.", the God of Mischief replied. The Asgardian brothers then headed out to meet Jane and her 'friend' at a café a few blocks down.
Thor spotted a familiar set of brown, wavy locks sat on one of the chairs outside the café. Her back was turned to both of them, and Loki wanted to run away already.
"Jane!", Thor greeted, making Jane turn around and meet his excited gaze. Her eyes lit up and she immediately stood up and hugged her lover.
Loki stood awkwardly behind them. The smile on Jane's face faltered when she saw her boyfriend's adopted brother.
"You.", Jane said, pulling away from Thor and walking towards him. Loki instinctively covered his face.
"Jane, darling, Loki here has started to changed his ways. That is why he is here right now on your planet to prove that he is worthy of the throne.", the older god explained.
Jane nodded but gave Loki a dirty glare, as if to say 'I'm watching you'.
"So, shall we sit?", Thor broke the silence and pulled a chair for Jane to sit on. Thor sat beside her while Loki sat opposite Jane.
"Where is this friend of yours?", Thor asked, his hands playing with Jane's fingers as they scanned the menu. Loki rolled his eyes at this.
"She said she's on her way- oh, there she is!", Jane remarked as soon as her eyes landed on her friend who was currently running towards them.
"Phew! I'm so... sorry... that... I'm... late
...", Jane's friend panted, holding onto the spare chair next to Loki with her head down. Her hair was over her face, Loki unable to see her features.Jane chuckled. "That's alright. At least you're here now. By the way, I would like to formally introduce you to Thor, my boyfriend...", Jane trailed off, placing her hand on Thor's shoulder. The god smiled at her.
Jane's friend finally looked up after regaining her breath, and Loki was finally able to analyze her face.
He was mesmerized.
"Pleasure to meet you.", Thor spoke, holding his hand out for to take. When she took it, Thor brought the back of her hand to his lips, a common Asgardian greeting. Jane was unaffected by this. She knew it was just her boyfriend being polite.
The lady was flushed, obviously caught off-guard at the blonde god's actions.
"You, too.", she responded. Jane then looked at Loki with zero affection.
"And this is Loki, his adopted brother.", Jane said, emphasizing the word 'adopted'. The God of Mischief scoffed at this, but his gaze softened when the newcomer looked at him.
Loki imitated Thor's actions, but let his lips linger on the back of her hand slightly longer.
"What a lovely lady you are, miss...", Loki trailed off, fixing his gaze on hers. The lady flushed even more.
"Kara. My name's Kara.", she answered and the raven-haired god smiled genuinely. Thor and Jane exchanged glances.
"Kara. Beautiful.", he added, seemingly enchanted by the young lady. Kara was intrigued by the god who was still holding her hand gently.
'For once, I do not regret accompanying my brother in his endeavors.', Loki muttered to himself.
