Seven Minutes in Heaven wasn't that bad for Kara at all. Sure, she didn't make out with the war veteran (she didn't really want to), but she got to know him pretty well. Steve was a great listener, and he was capable of holding conversation. He asked her personal questions, which surprisingly Kara answered to with honesty. Kara did the same, and it felt good making a new friend.

It's been so long since she's had one.

Their talk had to be interrupted of course by a knock on the door, courtesy of a certain Tony Stark. "Hey, Capsicle and Hollow Girl. 7 minutes are up. You can stop eating your faces out, now.", he remarked. Steve rolled his eyes, and Kara scrunched her nose up.

"Bear with him. He's always..." "Vulgar?", Kara finished for him, which caused the captain to chuckle and nod. They both got out of the spare room they stayed in. When they rejoined the group, the others watched them closely.

"What?", Kara asked, eyes shifting from one teammate to another. "You didn't do anything, did you?", Natasha inquired, raising an eyebrow. Kara and Steve exchanged looks, then shook their heads in sync.

"Oh, come on, Cap. Getting rusty after 70 years in the ice?", Sam teased, smirking. Steve glared at him.

Kara noticed that Wanda and Loki had not yet returned.

"Damn, those two are really getting it on.", Clint commented, eyes on the door of the room the pair were in. Kara gave him a look. "What do you mean?"

"Well, after a few seconds of being in there, we've heard nothing but groans and objects falling.", Rhodey explained, crossing his arms.

A pang in Kara's chest.

"Rock of Ages likes it rough, huh?", Tony added, standing up and making his way to their door. Thor laughed heartily. Kara's eyes turned to Vision, who had the same expression on her face.

A ringing sound in her ear.

"Hey, come on. Time's up, you two.", the billionaire spoke up. He heard some shuffling on the other side, and a few seconds later, Loki finally opened the door.

As they stepped outside, Kara got a good view of the sorcerers. Loki's hair was noticeably disheveled, and his face had a faint shade of red on it matched with that signature smirk. Wanda had smoothed her hair before they got out, but Kara could see the some knots still lingering. Her face was redder than that of the god beside her, and her pupils were dilated.

Of course, she wasn't the only one who noticed.

"Woo, Loki!" "Dang, you two really did it, huh?" "Oh. My. Gosh." "Dude, seriously?", a mixture of remarks echoed throughout the room, but Kara remained silent. Loki and Wanda glanced at each other before they returned to their original seats.

Beside Kara.

The young lady didn't dare look at either of them in the eye, even when Loki muttered an 'excuse me' to her in order to sit down properly. When they settled down, they were bombarded with even more comments.

"So... I'm not going to ask what you two did there because it's already obvious.", Tony piped up, silencing the others. "But lemme just ask this: WHEN. HOW. AND. WHY?", he said, emphasizing each word. Wanda chuckled.

"You'll find out soon.", she replied, looking down at her fingers, and grazing them over Loki's own.

"Get your f**king hands off him, b**ch.", she cursed internally. Her eyes bore into their hands so deep that her stare could almost penetrate their skin. Almost.

Hold on, why was she thinking this way?

Kara subtly looked at her ex-lover, whose blush had grown darker due to the contact. "Oh, so now you f**king like that?!", her thoughts were screaming, and as Loki's cheeks grew red, so did Kara's ears.

Little did she know, Loki wasn't the only one being watched closely.

"Good thing someone here has the balls to kiss the girl.", Sam spoke up, grinning evilly at Steve. The raven-haired god followed his gaze to Steve, and he smirked to himself.

"Vision, are you all right?", Thor inquired, eyebrows furrowed. The android jerked his head up and smiled, giving him a thumbs up. Wanda glanced at him from the corner of her eye.

"Hang on, is no one gonna ask how Rhodey and Natasha held up?", Tony said abruptly, his head snapping to his best friend. Rhodey pinched the bridge of his nose.

"We didn't make out either, Tony, so shut it.", Natasha retorted, rolling her eyes. The rest laughed.

"All right, all right. It's time to go to bed, everyone. We go home tomorrow.", the soldier reminded, making everyone groan.

All except Kara, who stared into nowhere.

"Make sure to have your things packed up tonight. I don't want anyone forgetting anything.", he added as his group started to stand up. "Yes, sir.", Natasha and Clint mocked him in unison, which made them look at each other. "Jinx!" "Jinx again!" "Buy me a soda in heaven!" The others shook their heads and made their way to their individual rooms.

"I can see why you two are partners.", Rhodey remarked as he walked past them.

"Goodnight, Vis-" Before Wanda could finish, the android already had shut his door.

Kara remained unfazed. Thor noticed this and walked to her, waving his hands in front of her face. "Um, Lady Kara?", the blonde god said softly, making Kara snap back to reality. "Yea?"

"Come on. We are going to head to our quarters now.", he stated, and Kara nodded with a small smile. "Oh, okay. Thanks, Thor. I'll hang here for a minute." With that, Thor left her.

Kara's eyes landed on the door Loki opened for Wanda. She couldn't understand why her stomach continuously churned, why her heart beat tremendously, and why her fists remained balled up. Images of their flushed faces replayed in her mind, and she shook her head vigorously, as if that would magically erase them.

"You still care, don't you?", her subconscious spoke. "Shut up.", she snapped.

"I was not speaking.", a voice startled her. Her head perked up and her eyes found Loki leaning against the wall, his arms crossed. Kara rolled her eyes.

"I wasn't talking to you.", she replied, her tone obviously annoyed. Loki hummed in response, cocking an eyebrow. She stood up and walked past him, heading to the room they shared. Kara dropped herself on the bed rather harshly, and yanked the sheets over her small frame.

A few seconds later, she felt the bed dip with the weight of the God of Mischief. With a snap of his fingers, the bedroom door closed shut, and he lay down on his bed.

"Good night, Kara.", he said, facing her. His hands reached for her face, with his index finger caressing her jaw. Without opening her eyes, Kara turned around so that her back faced him instead. This earned a huge grin from Loki.

"Shut up."
