audrey's eyes fluttered open, squinting as the morning sun's rays streaming from the windows blinded her.

"fuck," she whispered, her head pounding as she dragged a hand across her eyes, trying to adjust to the bright natural light.

she looked around, her eyes widening as she realized that she was not in her own room. she turned her head, coming face to face with a boy her age, about 20, who was sleeping.

his brown hair was tousled and messed up, his toned chest moving up and down with each even breath he took.

she remembered his beautiful blue orbs that stared into her eyes as he hovered over her last night, but she couldn't remember his name even if her life depended on it.

audrey groaned softly, putting her fingers on her temples and massaging them to make the pain in her head go away, but it didn't help.

rolling out of the bed, she grabbed her dress, which had been thrown to the floor last night.

she zipped up the silky material and quickly looked in the mirror, fixing her hair, and trying to fix the light smudges of mascara on her cheeks.

but she was glowing, she had really enjoyed last night.

she didn't regret it at all.

but she needed to leave, because her flight back home to new york was in six hours, and she couldn't be here when the guy woke up.

who was he?

she held her heels in her hand as she walked down the stairs, hoping that no one else was in the huge house, although she knew that was probably not the case.

and she was right, as soon as her foot hit the last step, another voice gasped, and audrey looked at him with wide eyes.

she took in his figure, her eyes drawn to his ridiculously curly hair and tattoos that traveled down his arms.

he was handsome, but definitely not her type.

"who are you?" he asked curiously, as he stood up from his spot on the couch.

"none of your business," audrey snapped. this wasn't supposed to be happening, she was just supposed to walk out without anyone noticing.

"woah, i'm just asking, this is my house."

"really? then why am i here?" audrey asked, arching an eyebrow.

"well, who brought you here?" he asked, crossing his arms.

"the one with the blue eyes? brown hair?" audrey asked.

"that's-,"

"no, i don't want to know, it was only one night, it doesn't matter," audrey interrupted, backing away from the boy and heading towards the door. "i need to go."

she didn't want to go, she wanted to stay, but she knew that the guy upstairs couldn't possibly like her back.

"can i at least know who you are?" the boy asked.

"audrey."

and with that, she opened the front door, heading to her car.
