daniel gasped as he saw audrey's apartment, which had been transformed with string lights, blankets, and pillows everywhere.

the tv was set on the ground with the couches moved away, bowls of popcorn and candy on the floor.

"oh my god," daniel said, his eyes narrowed at audrey. "are you turning into a vsco girl?"

audrey rolled her eyes. "oh shut up, seavey."

"hm, you're the only vsco girl i have eyes for, babe."

"smooth, seavey, real smooth," audrey said, "but i'm not a vsco girl, okay? the most i have is a metal straw because i like turtles."

"she's a vsco girl!" daniel shouted, spinning audrey around in the air while laughing. "now, go change, and i'll give you my hoodie and you can give me one of the shirts you stole from me."

audrey, now with both her feet on the ground replied, "or you could just stay shirtless."

"someone's horny," daniel smirked, making audrey shake her head.

"shut up or i'll force you to watch frozen."

"is this where i go sksksks?" daniel asked audrey, who rubbed her forehead, annoyed.

"we're definitely watching frozen today, then."

"i was joking!" daniel said, stripping his body of his hoodie and tossing it to audrey. "go change."

audrey smirked, immediately smelling the hoodie in her hand as she walked into her bedroom, slipping off her dress and putting on a pair of leggings and the hoodie, her hair in a ponytail as she washed her makeup off and put her face cream on.

turning off the light, she walked back to daniel, who was now on the ground, looking through the movies on the tv.

he looked up at the sound of soft footsteps, daniel's breath hitching as he saw audrey, a small smile on her lips and she pulled the strings of her hoodie to make them even, sitting down next to her boyfriend.

daniel pecked her lips, pulling her in front of his chest so she was sitting in between his legs. "you're so gorgeous," daniel whispered in her ear, making audrey's cheeks pink.

"i love you."

"i love you more."

the couple ended up playing music in the background instead of watching a movie and talked hours, bundled up in the soft blankets as they stayed intertwined with each other.

"you won't believe how many people asked me if i was dating you," daniel said, during their conversation. "they all love you."

audrey frowned. "sure they do, bub, sure."

"no, i'm serious! they were like, 'oh, please tell me you finally got a girl, and that the girl is audrey.' to me, and i was just like, no we're just friends."

audrey sighed. "it's so weird to have to lie about our relationship, isn't it?"

daniel shrugged. "it doesn't matter to me as long as i have you and you're happy."

audrey smiled, snuggling in closer to daniel, his breath lightly blowing against audrey's hair. "you're too sweet."

"and you're too hot," daniel said, smirking. "anything else we need to catch up on?"

audrey thought for a second before nodding. "yeah, actually, i'm thinking about meeting my dad."

daniel turned so he could look at audrey better, an expression she couldn't read in her eyes. "why?"

"i feel like i owe it to adam, you know, he has a relationship with him, and the least i could do is try," audrey shrugged. "and i was wondering..."

daniel motioned for audrey to continue, and after taking a breath she asked, "do you wanna meet me with him?"

his eyes brightened, a small smile on his face as he nodded. "of course, babe."

audrey sighed, "thank goodness. i don't know what i would've done without you."

"so do you know when it's happening and stuff? i'll need to know because of tour," daniel said, checking his phone.

"well according to adam, he lives in minnesota, and he has a son, who would be my half brother, his other wife left him," audrey answered, her voice slightly bitter. "and he's free whenever, according to my brother, so we could go whenever you have a concert there?"

daniel nodded. "sounds good, love. now, do you have any ice cream?"

audrey smiled, jumping up and skipping to the kitchen, grabbing the tub of vanilla ice cream she had bought the day before, and two spoons.

daniel and audrey shared the ice cream, talking and kissing through the night, slowly falling asleep in each others' arms.
