audrey pulled her romper out of her closet, bringing it with her to the bathroom, where she changed into it and washed her face and did her hair and makeup.

she decided to go light with the makeup, but still enough to make a statement.

she finished getting ready and decided to watch some tv while she waited for daniel to pick her up.

they didn't have each other's numbers, and audrey had a feeling it was a lost cause to try to dm him on instagram, so she just waited, watching parks and rec.

about fifteen minutes later, her doorbell rang, and she jumped up and answered it, immediately meeting blue eyes.

"hey, daniel," she said, opening the door wider so he could walk in.

"hi, audrey, you look...stunning," he said, his eyes looking at her intensely.

audrey blushed, nodding her thanks and getting him a glass of water. he took a sip before saying, "i thought we could go on a drive, and have our why don't we listening party?"

audrey smiled, "that sounds like a great plan."

daniel slumped in relief, his eyes brightening as he grabbed audrey's hand without a second thought.

his cheeks became red as he stared at their connected hands, but neither of them let go.

daniel led them to the car, opening the door to let audrey in and closing it as she sat down. he walked to the other side of the car and sat inside, turning on the engine and plugging his phone into the auxiliary.

"okay, so, the first song we're gonna listen to is taking you, it's our first song," daniel explained, looking at audrey who nodded, a small smile on her face.

daniel started driving, taking a road to the outskirts of the city, where you could see the most beautiful sunsets and views.

"okay, so this is one of my favorites. we wrote it because our fans are limelights, and wherever we go, we're taking them."

"okay, that's actually so sweet, oh my god," audrey gushed, turning the volume up and moving along to the beat.

daniel started singing, and audrey looked at him with wide eyes.

"holy shit, daniel, you're so talented, i could listen to your voice forever."

"don't worry, babe, when you're in california, i'll sing to you whenever you want," he flirted, a small smirk on his face.

"smooth, seavey, very smooth," audrey complimented, rolling the windows down and letting the fresh air in the car.

"hey, this is the song from yesterday," audrey said, smiling as she hummed the melody. "i love this."

"yeah, ed wrote this with us, it was so cool."

audrey looked at him with shock, "ed sheeran?" she asked with wide eyes.

daniel nodded, grinning. "it was so fucking amazing! he's so cool, and we even met taylor."

"i'm fangirling so hard right now, you don't even know!" audrey squealed, laughing. "holy shit, you guys are famous."

"hm, not really," daniel responded, turning the steering wheel to the right and parking at the side of the road.

"why'd we sto-," audrey trailed off as she saw the view around her.

the sunset, the gorgeous hues of pinks and oranges painting the sky. the sun was slowly setting over the water, casting spirals of colors through the atmosphere.

"oh my god, it's gorgeous," audrey whispered, standing outside the car and leaning on the side.

daniel joined her, their shoulders brushing as they stared up at the sky.

"almost as gorgeous as you," daniel whispered, his eyes flicking from the sun to audrey.

"stop it," audrey said, a small smile on her face.

"well, i'm stating facts, so you can't say anything," daniel replied, wrapping an arm around audrey's waist.

she leaned in, snuggling up to his shoulder, and said, "you're too nice."

"and you're too sweet."

"we flirt like middle schoolers," daniel chuckled, opening the car door for audrey and helping her in.

"and now, the last song for today, turn it off."

daniel turned the volume up a little, staring at audrey, whose phone was up recording the sunset.

he gently grabbed the phone from her as the lyrics started.

audrey smirked, her head tilted to the side, and asked, "trying to tell me something, seavey?"

"maybe," daniel said, putting audrey's phone in a cup holder.

he had made no move to start the car, and the two just sat there, staring at each other.

"hm, car sex sounds fun," audrey shrugged, biting her lip.

"excited, are we?" daniel asked, his voice deep and teasing.

"very," audrey said, sliding her arms around daniel's neck, leaning in, and connecting their lips.
