Jungkook and Taehyung walked down the hall to Mr. Kim's dungeon class. Namjoon was excused back in their last class when he accidently allowed a large vial of acid fall from his hands and onto the ground and his clothes.
He was in the medical wing being checked for any harm so Jungkook decided it wouldn't hurt to join Taehyung. It seemed like they were normal friends, and Jungkook guessed they were. He wasn't sure what his relationship with the blue eyed witch was.
When he looked straight into those eyes, he always felt faint and it was like a bolt of electricity went through his body. Even if he was good at hiding it, the fact remained that, Taehyung affected him more than any creature in this whole school did.
"Hey, you wanna partner up for this project? I'd rather work with someone I like better than with someone who's just going to fall on their knees in front of me." Jungkook scrunched his face up in disgust at Taehyung's words and was going to reject the idea but then he thought, why not? Namjoon wasn't in this class and he wasn't very friendly with the others. He ended up accepting. But a question lingered in his mind.
"Why am I the only person immune to this...thing your eyes do to other creatures?" Taehyung stopped in front of the dungeon door, surprised at the sudden question. He'd expected Jungkook to take longer to ask it and he definitely didn't expect it to be now, in here, of all times and places.
"Are you always this random?"
"Don't change the subject."
"I'm not."
"Yes, you are." They stared at each other for a few moments before Taehyung sighed.
"I don't think it's the time for you to know yet. Besides, we have class in a few minutes and this talk will most likely take more than that." The fairy huffed, his lips jutting out in a pout. He looked forward and entered the class, sitting down in his chair while Taehyung followed him, an amused grin on his lips.
"Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a nice weekend." Mr. Kim, probably the ONLY teacher anyone in the school liked, also because of his looks, smiled as he entered the class. Everyone chorused back a 'good morning' though the sight of the stack of papers - which were their quizzes from two weeks before - was enough to dampened their mood immediately.
Jungkook had gotten a B+ and Taehyung an A. They guessed it wasn't too bad compared to everyone else but then Mr. Kim gave him Namjoon's paper that had an A++ on it and suddenly, the fairy and witch wanted to go commit murder. Was there even such a thing as two pluses on a grade?
"And to think I studied for three nights in a row." Taehyung sighed at Jungkook's remark and leaned back in his chair.
"Oh well, it's still just the start of the semester. If we don't get expelled, we'll have a lot more quizzes to make up for this one." Jungkook smiled, his head turning around and Taehyung had to stare. He had to. Jungkook looked too cute and too adorable and Taehyung just wanted to hold his cheeks and ki-
"Kim Taehyung, pay attention please." He snapped out of his thoughts and blushed, turning back forward to listen to Mr. Kim and rid himself of whatever was on his mind.
It wasn't time yet.
