Chapter 47

Jimin had expected this reaction, he really had. So he shouldn't have been surprised when the four friends jumped on him, hitting him with curses or punches. He really shouldn't have been surprised, but he was.

He let them take out their anger, because really, it was his fault for not telling them earlier and only telling Mr. Kim. The others might've opened their mouths and ruined everything.

They were all panting by the end of it, Jimin more than them even though they were bad too.

"You have a lot of guts to come sauntering back here after what you did." Hoseok spits out and Jimin really can't blame him, but he had his reasons and deserves to explain himself. Not like he did anything wrong exactly, he was helping them.

"This was a nice welcome." He joked and they glared at him, not at all finding it funny. He cleared his throat and got up, backing up next to Mr. Kim and Mr. Min so that they don't try to punch him to death again.

"Why are you here, Jimin?" The shapeshifter cleared his throat again before answering.

"Well, I'm here to help you and before you cut me off, just listen to me. I was a spy, yes I spied on you too but that was to get the Principle's trust and I had to give him a true information, a good one. Mr. Kim helped and told me everything I should and should not say." Everyone's eyes except Mr. Min's turned to Mr. Kim who looked slightly sheepish. "So I wasn't betraying you, I was a double spy. I got in touch with the shapeshifters and told them everything the Principle was doing, how he was a disgrace to our kind and they turned their backs on him and agreed to help us. Miss Shi - the Vice Principle? The Banshee? You know her - came to me after you guys escaped and told me to meet her and her kind in secret, we didn't know we could use this rule at the time so it was mostly for me to cope, she helped me spy on the Principle and they agreed to help us too. That's why you were called back, we have everyone we need. But guys, the Ten aren't involved. They don't even know!"

Namjoon narrowed his eyes, he was not over what Jimin did but they had more important matters to discuss at the moment. They can continue beating him up soon after.

"How do you know?"

"Because the ones on the Ten seats are good people! They'd never let something like this happen if they'd known about it! Miss Shi says so because she knows the banshee that's part of the Ten and she says she's one of the best people she's ever met along with each of the other nine."

"Then we can get them to notice. We can tell each of the creatures to contact whoever is on the table, those seven can tell the others who would listen to them." Their faces all turned hopeful at what Jungkook said.

"If that's true then it's the solution to all our problems. Don't think you're off the hook yet though, you'll wait here while we contact everyone." Mr. Min and Mr. Kim watched fondly as the four - with Jimin helping sometimes - scramble to write the letters explaining everything and then sending them with crows. They just had to wait for an answer now.

The two adults left them to talk their feelings out, seeing as they still didn't seem to forgive Jimin. It took a while for Yoongi to understand and forgive him, mostly because his husband was a part of this. He was still mad at him about that and Seokjin had some major apologizing to do himself.

"Look, I'm sorry guys but this was a great opportunity. When the Principle approached me, trying to put into my brain that I'm the outcaste and that I'm better than all of you because I'm a pureblood, well, it was too good to let go and so I did what anybody with a brain would've done. I played spy." Namjoon got up, pulling Jimin in a bone-crushing hug.

"You know what? It doesn't matter. What matters is that you're here now and that you're on our side like how it was supposed to be at the beginning." Jungkook nodded and went to join them, Hoseok and Taehyung begrudgingly following them as well.

"Aren't you tired? How did you even get here?"

"I had help from Miss Shi and one of the fairy Professors, I don't know him, I think he's in charge of Level C's that's why." Taehyung nodded, patting his back.

"Well, let's all go and collapse because I really, really want to at this point."

Their laughter rang in the room, it was the first of many.
