Jungkook had noticed when in the middle of the night, Namjoon had left so he just got up, turning on the lamp and sighing. His mind was jumbled and had so many thoughts running through his mind.
Taehyung still wouldn't tell him why he wasn't affected by his eyes. They didn't know when the Principle would send an army on a hybrid hunt. He was a hybrid and a shapeshifter at that. And now his roommate - who was one of the best students on campus - was sneaking around and not telling Jungkook about it.
It was safe to say that he was absolutely frustrated.
He tried to read some books, doodle on his notebooks, almost everything just to distract himself because he was scared, nervous and tired. But he couldn't even sleep through it. He sighed in frustration and chucked the book onto the ground, plopping back onto his back to stare at the ceiling.
There was a knock on the door and he jumped up startled. He narrowed his eyes at the piece of wood, wondering why the hell would someone be here at this time if it weren't for a bad reason?
He warily got up from the bed, crouching down slightly in alert. Ready to use magic or bolt the minute he sensed danger. They didn't have a peep hole so he slowly opened the door, peeking out but saw no one there and frowned. He was about to put it off for a prank from one of the other fairies when the door swung open on it's own accoes, causing him to yelp and fall down on his ass.
The door quickly closed again and Jungkook jumped up, adrenaline running through his body and he opened his hands, ready to throw curses the moment he knew where the hell this person was.
But then he saw the familiar blue eyes and he slowly relaxed. He didn't have the energy to be mad at Taehyung.
"What are you doing here?" The witch crossed his arms and looked Jungkook up and down, a look of amusement on his face. Then the fairy realized he was wearing a bunny covered pajama and he glared at Taehyung.
"Don't you look nice."
"Hey! Why are you here?" Taehyung shrugged and then plopped on Jungkook's bed. The fairy sighed in frustration, going over to try and get him off but Taehyung just pulled him down, wrapping one arm around his waist while laying the other under Jungkook's head and curling it around. Completely caging him in.
Jungkook turned a bright shade of red, his hair turning a brownish-orange in the process.
"Y-yah, what do you think you are doing?" Taehyung didn't answer and just held him closer and Jungkook's pride didn't allow him to admit that he loved how the older's arms felt around him.
"I couldn't sleep. Thought maybe you couldn't sleep too with everything that had happened." Jungkook had to nod, he reached his hands out to wrap around Taehyung's chest because they were starting to hurt folded between them and he thought he heard Taehyung's breath hitch.
"I couldn't sleep either. Too much on my mind and it's very stressful. Do you think we'll all be fine by the end of this?" Taehyung placed his chin on Jungkook's head and shifted slightly to find a comfortable position for both of them.
"Only time will tell I guess. It's not like we're going to start a revolution." The prospect had Jungkook snorting and he sighed contently, allowing his eyelids to fall close.
He barely felt the soft kiss being placed on his forehead as he fell into unconsciousness.
