"So you want me to talk to the elders, huh?" Jungkook and Taehyung nodded, the former's lips pursed while the former was calm. He knew his grandfather, so he knew he'd do them the kindness of at least let them meet the elders to give their side of the story.

The old man was silent for a moment before he nodded and got up.

"Very well. We leave after dinner, if this matter is as urgent as you believe, then there is no time to waste." Jungkook's whole body relaxed and he bowed down slightly for Taehyung's grandfather.

"Thank you so much." The old man smiled the slightest bit and patted him on the shoulder.

"Don't thank me just yet."

Dinner was uneventful. Well, for Taehyung. Jungkook had never had so many people on a dinner table before, it's always been him, his mom and his dad. All of this chattering and bickering and food flying around was so new to him.

"You get used to it." Taehyung had to lean in and shout in his ear because of the loud talking of his siblings as well as his mother and grandfather. Jungkook could see where the witch got his confidence from.

After dinner, they followed Taehyung's grandfather out of the house and into the streets. They walked to the center of the village, where a house with no corners had been built right in the middle.

"This is our meeting place. I have contacted the head witches that there are important matters to discuss so they called for another meeting." Taehyung nodded while Jungkook was still in awe of the place, his eyes taking in every detail once they entered the house.

They were immediately met with the head witches, all them standing in a semi-circle that Taehyung's grandfather went to join in.

"Donghyeon, what was so urgent that you called us in right after another one?" Donghyeon looked at one of the witches and then pointed at Taehyung and Jungkook with his head.

"My grandson and his partner have something important that they thought should be brought to our attention."

Taehyung was going to speak, but Jungkook beat him to it, stepping forward to address the head witches.

"Before we start, I just wanted to explain that we didn't come here to start another war. In fact, this is the only way to fix this without any bloodshed. Because if you don't agree, more people will slowly get killed which will lead to riots and in the end, war." The head witches started murmuring to each other before one of them spoke.

"And what is this problem you bring to us that you hope we accept?"

"Hybrids." Taehyung spoke, standing next to Jungkook. "The Principle and Vice Principles, some of them anyway, have been killing them within the walls of the Magix Academy ever since their existence was known. And, we believe, this is by permission from the Ten. All of our species have been living together peacefully ever since the War and the consummation of a child from two different species was inevitable. But they are stronger, more powerful and the Ten are threatened, the Principle is threatened." Jungkook took over after that.

"I'm a hybrid. My parents are both fairies, but one of them have dormant shapeshifter genes, it didn't stay dormant in me and now I have both powers." He raised his hand, showing the sparks from his fingers and then changed his face features to resemble Taehyung's.

The head witches' voices raised until there was an uproar. This was a good reaction, Jungkook's hopes were starting to raise and Taehyung squeezed his hand.

Taehyung's grandfather turned to them.

"What do you wish the head witches to do? You say you do not want war, but overthrowing the Ten, just the thought of it, could be twice as bloody as the War." Jungkook shook his head, staring at each head witch as he spoke.

"My Gran is almost four centuries old. She's known every rule to have ever been made and she swears on her grave that they have never taken this one down. If we can get 7 out of 10 of the species on the Ten chairs to side with us against the beliefs of a corrupted bunch, then without any war or any executions, they are forced to give up their chairs for someone more worthy, someone all the species agree to."

Donghyeon turned to the head witches, whispering into one their ears and they slowly told each other. When they turned back to the two, they'd known they just had their first allies.
