"Declan? Wake up baby we're here." The car came to a stop and Dec opened his eyes looking around in confusion

"Why didn't you take me to my Hotel?" He frowned, pulling off Ant to sit up and wrap his arms tightly around his small torso.

"You can stay with me, I'm not letting you go again... and you can't be alone not like this."

"I'm fine Ant, it was just a panic. You shouldn't have left work for me." Dec mumbled sadly, honestly believing that he was a waste of space and a burden for Ant.

"You are not fine Decky and that was not an ordinary panic attack and you know it." Ant spoke sternly but instantly soften up upon seeing its affect on Dec who edged away nervously. "Look it was no problem leaving work when I did, and you are free to go back to the hotel if you wish but could you just stay for tonight? For me? So I can sleep knowing you're safe."

The older Geordie tilted his head in confusion, unable to fully understand Ants need to have him close, but if Ant needed something Dec would do it, and Ant needed him to stay, so he'd stay. Dec nodded his head a little and a small smile graced Ants lips.

"Take us into the drive way Ian." The car started up again and the gates to Ants huge house opened wide, so that they could park right outside the door.

After a little bit of coaxing and some nifty manoeuvring by Ant, he'd managed to get Dec into the house and into the kitchen, where he sat him down gently.

"Are you hungry? I can cook up some spagbol?" Dec looked up from where he'd been playing with his hands to met Ant's eyes.

"Yes please." He said timidly and it physically hurt Ant to see the usually cheerful lad so sad and afraid.

Dec sat there in silence as Ant prepared the food, he was internally berating himself for being so weak, Why do I always need rescuing? Why do I have to be so sensitive? I am glad to be with Ant again obviously but I don't deserve him. He's only looking at me again because he's a nice person, I can't believe I'm being so selfish and wasting his time, again.

"Here you go, Bon appetite." Ant smiled, gracefully placing a bowl full of mouthwatering pasta in front of the brown haired Geordie. Dec thanked him and quickly dug into the food, having not eaten since the bread-roll he'd had for breakfast. "Someone's hungry" Ant laughed. "Slow down or you'll make yourself sick." He pointed out watching the smaller lad with fondness, he dug into his own food much more slowly but his mind was wondering far from the food in front of him.

"Dec?" Ant started causing Dec to look up wide eyed with a mouthful of pasta, Ant let out a low chuckle at how cute he looked before continuing. "What... err... what caused your panic today? And who's Jay?" Dec swallowed now looking incredibly uncomfortable and panicked, like he didnt want to be there at all... having that conversation. His gaze flickered from Ant to the nearest exit which was almost too fast for the presenter to notice, but he did and realised his timing was completely off. "Hey hey it's alright you don't have to tell me okay? You can finish your food and we'll watch a movie? Sound good?"

Dec nodded, relieved and looked down at his food before mumbling a small "Thankyou." Ant scolded himself for being an insensitive Idiot and they finished the rest of their food in silence.

It was 10:30pm and Ant and Dec were cuddled up on the sofa as the end credits of a repeat of 'Friends' appeared. Ant switched off the tv but didn't move, just continued to play with Dec's soft brown hair. Dec had barely been focusing on the episode instead he'd been fighting an inner debate on whether to answer Ants previous questions, he'd never told anyone, and if anyone has a right to know it's Ant. A big part of him wonders that maybe if he can tell Ant everything he'd get closure and be able to move on, realistically he knew that wasn't true but he knew it would be a step in the right direction. Taking a deep breath and mustering up every once of courage he had left, Dec broke the comfortable silence between the two Geordies with a nervous cough.
