This chapter gets a bit dark sorry :( I'm onto about chapter 21 now and not really sure the direction I'm taking it but I hope you enjoy this and there will be an update soon 🥰
"Decky!?" Ant said from where he was trying to assemble a hammock for his mother in the garden.
"Yeah?"
"Could you grab me a screw driver from the draw in the kitchen?"
"Sure." Dec said putting down his guitar and walking inside to the kitchen. He was just about to open the kitchen draw when the door bell rang out, assuming it was the postman or something, Dec shouted out. "I'll get it!"
The 21 year old swiftly moved to the front door and on opening it, saw one of the last few people he'd expect to see on the McPartlin's door step. Then again who was he kidding, thinking he could just ignore his family after they found out he was staying In Newcastle.
Dec stood there wide eyed, unsure of what to do. He wasn't really angry at Cam, it wasn't her fault what happened and they'd always gotten on well. He used to be angry that his siblings hadn't stood up for him, but looking at his sister now all the anger disappeared... he'd missed her.
"Cam?"
"Hey Decky." She smiled. Dec opened the door fully and threw himself into his older sisters arms, breathing in her homely sent. She wrapped her arms around her younger brother tightly, tears welling up in her blue eyes.
"Missed you." Dec mumbled into her shoulder, shutting his eyes against the tears.
"I've missed you too Decky... so, so much. God I'm so sorry it's been so long, wow you're so grown up."
"Baby I only asked you to get a screwdriver... what's taking you so—" Ant paused when he entered the hallway, looking at the warm embrace occurring at his doorstep between his boyfriend and a slightly taller brown haired women. "oh sorry... but uh who are you?" Ant asked thinking there was something strangely familiar about her kind features.
"Sorry Anth I got distracted... this is Cam, my sister. Cam this is Ant, my...err... my boyfriend." Ant looked at Cam suspiciously, he knew he had told Declan that he should reconnect with his family but at the same time he doesn't want to see him get hurt again.
The young women reached her hand out kindly for Ant to shake. "It's nice to meet you Ant," she smiled.
"Like wise." Ant said deeply giving the girl a strong hand shake that just read 'don't fuck with my boyfriend'. She retracted her hand just as Dec asked how she'd found him.
"Ma said you were with a Celebrity. Said she couldn't remember the name but he had dark hair. I put two and two together and came here."
"It's not meant to be general knowledge that I stay here." Ant grumbled, annoyed that he can't seem to have a private life anymore.
"No it's not, I tutored Sara for her GCSEs, she talked about you... a lot."
"Right... you're uh Camelia, I do remember- I payed for the sessions."
"Aye Thankyou for that, not that she needed me mind you, she's a very bright girl."
"I know." Ant smiled proudly.
"You're still tutoring then?" Declan asked realising he didn't really know his sister that well.
"Aye I do tutor the occasional student but I'm a full time English teacher at the girls school. Errr... do you mind if I come in?"
"Oh sorry of course... come in do you want a cuppa?" Dec asked leading her into the kitchen, with Ant following closely behind.
"I'm alright Thankyou pet...I could do with a water though if that's alright?"
