Chapter 22: Gross Misconduct

I wrote over 2000 words for this chapter in 1st person and then realised... oh no that's the over book so I had to re-write it 😂😂

Heere it is....

Nervousness hadn't properly hit Declan until the car journey to the venue. But he was comforted slightly because Ant had to be in rehearsals in the morning, they were very early.

Dec found it hard to enjoy himself even though he got to watch Ant work and joke around with him between the breaks.

His leg bounced nervously, his mind and eyes wandered around the room... where he'd preform in just a few hours.

Ant had seen Dec's distress and couldn't work out how to take the older Geordie's mind off the upcoming performance, especially when he really needed to be practicing his own live performance.

Dec giggled to himself whilst Ant was reading off the autocue. Ant, shoved his hands in his casual tracksuit pockets and looked at his boyfriend curiously, "what's so funny?"

"Slash" Dec replied chuckling a little to himself.

"I'm sorry?"

"Slash it's funny isn't it... I think you should make that but more interesting by saying SLASH instead of 'slash'."

"I have no idea what you're talking about Decky." Ant said with a deep chuckle, shaking his head at his boyfriend's cuteness. "Go on then show me how it's done."

"Really?" Dec asked in shock as Ant gestured him up on stage. Dec grinned and skipped on stage adorably and looked at the autocue. "Another fun activity for bring your boyfriend to work day?"

"Just read the autocue you" Laughed ant, stepping off to the side. Dec straightened up took a deep breath and in the lowest tone he could reach began to speak clearly.

"If you think Kieron is your pop idol! You can vote for him on 07999 34104, or you can vote via the website at Www.pop idol SLASH vote.com" Ant let out a hearty laugh at Dec's comical impression of him as well as the over exaggerated slashing motion he made with his hands. Ant wrapped his arms around his boyfriend middle and rocked them both side to side.

Dec liked the feel of Ant's chest vibrating against his back and the taller mans arms around him were the most relaxing thing in the world.

"Haha I love it, I would steal it but I don't think I'd look so cute doing it." Ant went to place a chaste kiss on Dec's cheek but before his lips connected with the smooth pale skin, Dec had moved his head and their lips met instead.

Ant half laughed, half hummed in content. "Hmm sneaky little bugger." He joked against Dec's lips. Running his hands further down to dip underneath the fabric of his shirt, feeling up the warm skin beneath it.

"Love you so much Decky. I'm so proud of you, no matter what happens out there. You're always gonna be amazing for me." Dec suddenly felt the nerves drift away, he was safe, in the only place he ever wanted to be. In Anths arms, enclosed in Anth scent, loved forever.

"Love you too." Dec placed his lips on Ants once more, but this time it was slow and sensual. It sent tingles up Ants spin, made his heart flutter and created a pool of warmth in his belly.
