Hello! This is my latest addition of copy righting for a song :) it's 'Chasing Car's' by Train... if you haven't heard it, where have you been? And it's attached above.

If you want to imagine him singing a different song that's fine cause it's for your enjoyment not mine :D

The clocks had just passed 10 inside the Mcpartlin house hold. There was a gentle fire roasting at the fireplace, spreading a warm glow about the room where, Christine and Sara sat chatting and laughing comfortably with Dec who was cuddled up snuggly to Ants side.

"So Declan how long have you been playing music?" Asked Christine over the rim of her cuppa.

"Uhh it would be about 6 years ago, I started teaching myself guitar when I was 15 but I was singing a lot before that, me mam couldn't shut us up."

"You write songs too, don't ya?" Asked Ant looking down at Dec.

"Aye every now and then," replied Dec blushing, "there not that good mind you."

"Nonsense, what about that one you played in the park? It was incredible!"

"Thankyou but I had some help."

"What's the last song you wrote by yourself?" Asked Sara, stroking their young Labrador , Hurley.

"Uhh I started writing one after me and Anth met... and I finished it the day after the park." Dec said honestly, with this information anyone would think Dec had written it about Ant, they'd be right.

"Play it." Ant said simply. Dec looked at him a little shocked, and a little worried because...well he wrote it for him, what if he doesn't like it?

"I don't think that's a good idea." Replied Dec looking at his hands.

"You don't have to and I'm not gonna make you. But you could do it for me?" Ant gave Dec his biggest puppy dog eyes and the older Geordie melted. Dec looked over at Sara and Christine who were smiling widely at the scene before them.

"Okay, I'll get my guitar." Dec went to get up but was slightly delayed by Ant pulling him back and placing a sweet kiss on his cheek and whispering a soft Thankyou in his ear.

"Alright, let's see if I can remember it..." Dec said throwing on the strap of his guitar and going to sit on the other end of the sofa to Ant so he could see everyone. Dec prepared his fingers at the frets, strumming a few strings before blushing and mumbling shyly, "it's out of tune, hold on..."

After re-tuning and double checking the chords, Dec was ready, he looked up at Sara and Christine who were both sat watching him with interest, he swallowed nervously and looked to Ant
who was smiling at him proudly. "okay... This is called 'Chasing Cars.'" Dec took a deep breath and started to strum his guitar.

All his anxieties disappeared as he preformed, he wasn't nervous anymore, it was just him and his guitar, he looked up into Ants eyes because now it was him, his guitar and Anth.

We'll do it all
Everything
On our own

We don't need
Anything
Or anyone

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

I don't quite know
How to say
How I feel
