Chapter 38

Danny wakes up and looks over to find the bed empty. He looks at his phone which is on 20% to see that it was 8:15am he could've sworn he put it on the charger when he got home a few hours ago.

He opened the door and immediately smelled food and heard Julius laughing while Victoria talked to him.

Then Danny walked into the den he peeked his head around the corner and watched as Victoria entertained and played with Jullius as he sat in a big plush SpongeBob chair Danny had never seen before as she cooked breakfast.

"Da da! Da da!" Jullius screamed laughing.

"Shhh, JuJu daddy is sleeping, he got in pretty early checking on Uncle Mark, were going to let him rest for a while okay." Victoria said taking Jullius oatmel off the stove and reaching for some bowls and plates out the cabinet.

Danny walked up behind her and kissed her neck as she jumped.

"Idiot! Ugh, you scared the hell out of me, why are you even woke" she said pecking his lips and moving to tend to the food. "You two weren't in bed with me baby, what you down her cooking" he said jumping up on the counter as she moved around the kitchen.

"I made Jullius some brown sugar oatmeal and a piece of toast. I made us some cheese grits, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties, and biscuits since I was in the mood for one" she said walking out of the kitchen putting the food on the table. Danny grabbed Jullius hand as they walked into the dinning room sitting down at the table waiting on Victoria to come with the cups. After she sat down Danny said grace and she began fixing everybody's plates. "So what are we doing today" Danny asked Victoria while eating a slice of bacon.

"Baby don't talk with your mouth full. Me and Jullius going to go pick up my check, drop off my midterm paper and then maybe to the park. You on the other hand are going to get some rest while we're out sir." Victoria said taking a sip of her orange juice.

"Yes ma'am." He said laughing at Jullius who had oatmeal on his nose and Victoria smiled at him getting it off for him. "After you and Jullius outing I want to go to the hospital together and go check on Mark, is that cool?" Danny asked her.

"Of course baby, I would love to." She responded giving Jullius a high give for eating all of his food.

"This boy has a appetite like his daddy" Victoria said as she gave Jullius some cheese grits and eggs on his plate as she fed him. After breakfast she cleaned up the kitchen while Danny entertained Jullius and she took a quick wash up. She pulled out clothes for herself, Jullius, and Danny ironing everything.

Jullius was going to wear a navy blue onesie, a red and black cardigan, khaki cargo pants, and his red and blue Polo shoes. Danny's attire was a red and black stripped v-neck shirt, dark denim jeans, and his red chuck taylors. Lastly she would be wearing a khaki tank top, red cardigan, dark blue ripped jeans, red vans, and her hair in a fishtail braid to the side. 

She thought it was cute that they would be matching. While Danny just let her have her way. Whatever she wanted was fine with him, long as she was happy.

After changing Jullius diaper, she packed him a bag, kissed Danny and was out the door. Danny texted Luke and letting him know where they were going.

Me: ayye, my baby and little one headed to the mall, the park, and to her school then should be coming back here. She don't know you following her so don't say nothing to her unless you have to. When she go in the mall go in after her, when she go to school, go in after her, at the park, stay in the truck but keep a eye out for anybody strange talking to her females included, don't shoot unless necessary, if shit pop off, tell her who you are, and take her and Jullius, and call me, got it?

Lu: yes sir

With that Danny poured himself a glass of cranberry juice and went back upstairs and watched tv. He wanted to tell her but things were just going so great and he didn't want to risk loosing her. All he needed was just a few more months and everything would be all over and they could live happy without a worry or care on the world. Danny soon fell asleep and dreamed of how his future would be with Victoria, Jullius, Mark, Melinda, Viviane, and their future children living happy.
