Biological II

Tony was pacing around the small room after sending everyone out but me and Bruce. "Peter you can honestly say you had no idea about this?" I nod my head and then frown at the tablet. "My parents were together for years before they married and had me. They loved each other too much. There is no way she cheated on him." Bruce gave Tony a sideways glance that Tony didn't miss. "Don't look at me like that! I might have been a drunk ass sleep around but I made sure it was consensual and legal everytime." I continued looking at the analysis, eyebrows furrowed. I decided that I was hungry. Yeah, I had never actually gotten my dinner and then I passed out. I pushed the tablet away from myself. "Who wants food?"

After sending for some food and eating in the hospital room, Bruce cleared me to go. Since the newfound discovery, we decided I was going to stay with Tony. When we arrived, we went straight into the lab to work on a new formula for my webs. "FRIDAY?" Tony called out. The music we were blaring abruptly cut off, symbolizing that she was listening. "Patch through Bruce." After a few rings, he picked up. "Where we at on the whole legal thing?" I tried to supress a smile. Since he was technically my father, and my last guardian had just... he was going to try and get custody of me. "You don't have to try and get custody." I turned towards the screen with Bruce's face on it. "Wait why?" Lips pursed, Bruce continued. "It turns out, in May's will, she left the custody of Peter to you. But here's what I don't get. You got your powers in 2012 (?) but she had this set in her will from 2009. Long before you two crossed paths. I think May knew the truth." I racked my brain for a minute and lit up with an idea. I grabbed my laptop and started typing away furiously. "I knew it! here we go, adoption papers. My mother didn't cheat on my father, they adopted from someone who knew you were in no state to raise a child," Tony let out a protest but it went ignored. "Adoption papers need to be signed my the mother giving away the child, proof of consensual giving away of the child. Check the records. maybe we could find out who it was that Tony knocked up." Tony gave another protest when they heard what came next. 

"Tony, you don't need the papers. Your birthday, when you were dying, we.. well you were there. About a month later, I found out I was pregnant. I knew you being you, me being me we couldn't have a baby, let alone with each other. So I gave him away. I swear Peter if I had known it was you, and you were going to become the person you are, I would of held on to you so tight that no one could ever touch you. But, if it's okay, I'd like to be your mother now." 

And out of the shadows, stepped Peter's mother.
