Peter was sitting in an alleyway, cuddling Natasha, trying not to cry. A soft thud told him his hiding spot was given away. He snuggled deeper into her stomach. "He doesn't want to see you Tony."
She was right. Peter wouldv'e preferred to see Toomes right now. Okay, maybe not Toomes but he sdidn't want to see Tony.
"Come on, Nat. Let me see the kid." Tony slurred. "He's overreacting. I've only had a scotch, maybe two."
Peter was done. He sat straight up. "That scotch, maybe two was enough to break our entire trust bond. So, tomorrow, when your'e sober, watch the footage and see if it was worth it."
~three hours ago~
Peter was tinkering with a function of his suit, waiting for Tony to come in so he could give him his present. Tony stumbled in, clutching an empty glass.
"Hey, Mr. Stark! Happy Father's Day! I got you some- wait what are you doing?" Tony tried to take a sip from the glass and, upon realizing it was empty, threw it at the ground. It landed right in front of Peter. Without the spider sense making him dodge, a piece of glass would of hit him right in the arm.
Tony stumbled over to the bar, not even acknowledging Peter. "Friday, how much alcohol has he consumed?" Tony poured a glass and chugged it.
"He has already finished two bottles of scotch. I would recommend he stop, immediately." Peter nodded and lunged at Tony, who was about to pour another drink.
"Kid? What the hell?" Tony shoved Peter off, but Peter had managed to wrap his hands around the neck of the bottle. He pulled the bottle with his super strength and that caused it to break.
Tony roared in anger. "What the fuck kid?! Leave me alone! I don't need you!Just get out of my way and let me drink in peace!"
Here it comes.
Tony slapped Peter in the face.
Told you.
Peter's eyes were filling with tears as he backed into a wall. he started to hyperventilate.
Tony didn't care. Tony didn't care. Tony didn't care. Tonydidn'tcareTonydidn'tcareTonydidn'tcare
Peter jumped out the window and began to swing. He double tapped his watch and his suit formed over his body as he swung into an alleyway next to May's old apartment.
~the next day~
Tony woke up with a bitch of a headache. He clutched his forehead as soon as he sat up. He noticed he was in a med-bay chair and had a cast on his arm.
"Bruce?" He called out, wondering why he was in the med-bay.
Bruce entered and saw him awake. "Ah, your'e probably wondering. That can be explained with the fact that yesterday was Father's Day. You got drunk. Something happened. Natasha broke your arm."
Bruce promptly left. When Tony was about to call out to him, he noticed the green creeping up his veins.
"Friday, what happened?" Tony asked, massaging his temples. A hologram of Peter in the lab projected in front of him. He watched the scene play out.
"Yeah, I understand why she broke my arm. What's Peter's location?" A set of coordinates popped up on his phone.
Tony pulled the IV out of his phone and trudged off to the penthouse.
When he got there, he dumped every drop of alcohol with juices and such.
He then went to the coordinated Friday gave him. He was met with a boy sitting curled up against a grave in a suit.
"Peter?" Tony's voice cracked as he called out for the boy, his boy.
Peter jerked awake. "Oh, sorry. You found me again. I guess you want me to come home? I should probably listen to you. If you don't take care of me, no one will. Even if you don't care about me, as you showed last night, you showed up so clearly Is till have a bed. Unless that is why you're here. To send me back to the foster home you dug me out of." Peter mumbled incessantly to himself about how it was his fault for forcing himself into Tony's life when he clearly didn't need Peter.
Tony put his hands on Peter's shoulders. Peter flinched and Tony pulled away immediately. "Sorry. I forgot about Skip." Peter wiped his eyes. "But, I'm not here to send you away. I'm here to see if you'd ever forgive me for what I did. I know I don't deserve your forgiveness but I hope that you could find it in yourself to forgive me- oof!" He was cut off by Peter hugging him.
"How could I not forgive you?" Peter asked, pulling away. Tony gasped and touched his cheek lightly.
"Because I slapped you hard enough that you, with super healing, still have a mark on your cheek." Peter shrugged.
"I've been though worse than a little slap." Tony winced. "It's my fault honestly. I know you have problems with your dad, and then I confronted you when I knew you were drunk." Peter's voice got small as he hugged Tony closer. "I just wanted to give you the present I made you."
Tony smiled. "Can I out my hand on your shoulder?" Peter beamed and nodded. Tony few his arm around Peter. "Then, lets go to the lab!"
