HAHA THIS TIME YOU LITERALLY ASKED FOR IT @lizzywolf7991
Peter had been preforming as long as he could remember. He had used the stage name "James Martins" because he thought it was cool (he was like 6 okay, don't blame him). He had been Gavroche in Les Mis, Zach in School of Rock, Crutchie in Newsies, Young Fiyero in Wicked, Link in Hairspray, Emmet in Legally Blonde, and he was currently playing Aaron in Mean Girls. He was in his room, reading his lines because last night he had to improvise during Someone Get's Hurt. He closed his eyes and repeated then multiple times before he sighed and put the script back in the cupboard where he kept all of the scripts from every Broadway show he'd ever done.
Tony banged loudly on his door and he groaned. "What's up Dad?" He plopped onto his bed as the door opened. "Okay, so I just got seven front row seats the Mean Girls on Broadway. Steve started hyperventilating when he found out, apparently that's his favorite movie." Peter rolled his eyes. "Well I'm spending the night playing board games and watching movies with Ned and Mj." Man, no wonder he's a great actor. It's just like lying, which he is great at. "Alright, I guess Sam can come or something."
Peter let out a sigh of relief when his door clicked closed. An alarm on his phone went off and he jumped up. He popped in his wireless earbuds that let him have the normal hearing range of a human. "I'm going to Mj's! I'll be home later and I have my earbuds!" After Tony's call back, Peter got in the elevator. He scrolled through Baby Boomer Karen memes and laughed as the door opened.
He slipped out and hailed a taxi to the theatre. He immediately started getting ready, placing a kiss on Mj's cheek. She was playing Gretchen. He got her into it and she was amazing. Ned, although enthusiastic, did not have the same talent, to put it nicely. Peter got into his costume and plopped into his seat. His dad was calling him. "Hey Dad, what's up?" He asked as he flipped through another copy of his script.
"Hey, last chance? We're passing by Mj's right now if you want us to pick you up." Peter winced. He really hated lying to his family but he didn't want them to know. It was his own little thing, he likes keeping it to himself.
He knew tonight would blow that straight out of the water anyway, but he wasn't gonna ditch a performance like that. "No, I'm good. Thanks though. Enjoy it!" He smiled.
"We will! Your mom is so excited to see it. Did you know James Martins is playing Aaron? He's like the best performer I've ever seen. I saw him in Hairspray, a little while before Germany. It was your mom and I's anniversary date. I heard he's up for a Tony. Isn't it funny that there's an award with my name? Fitting really-"
"Dad." Peter cut him off, trying so hard not to laugh he felt tears begin to brim in his eyes. "You're rambling. Ned just got out of the bathroom so we're gonna press play. Funnily enough, Ned wanted to watch Mean Girls."
Tony let out a soft chuckle. "Alright, I'll let you go. Say hi to your friend for me, and tell Mj that she left one of her sketchbooks here." Peter smiled.
After they said goodbye, Peter got his mic and sat by Mj. "Hey, my dad says that you left a sketchbook at my house again."
She rolled her eyes as she put on her makeup. "How do you know it isn't a ploy so I can be allowed in again, loser?" She out down her brush and stood up, walking over to him.
He stood when she neared him and she began to fix the collar on his shirt. "When have you ever needed an excuse to do anything." He reminded her gently.
She met his eyes. "True." She pulled him in by his collar and gave him a kiss. "See you later, nerd." He smiled at her and brushed his thumb over his lip, getting rid of the lipstick stain she left on him.
"We're on in 3!" Someone called from backstage. Peter was still smiling to himself, wondering how he got so lucky.
Whispers began to break out backstage. "Did you hear The Avengers are coming?" Kate Rockwell (Karen) whispered too him as they listened to the beginning song.
Peter smiled to himself. "I don't buy it." He mumbled back, a shit-eating grin on his face.

Tony was staring at his playbill, wondering if he could get it signed. "What the fuck? I took this picture!" Sam whisper shouted at Tony, pointing at the actor picture from behind his back.
"Yeah, cause you know James Martins." He guffawed. Sam rolled his eyes and pointed at it again.
Tony looked closer at the picture. He did recognize it. Wait a second, was that... it couldn't be. "You aren't saying..."
"Oh. I'm sayin'" Sam said.

Tony was waiting backstage, holding his playbill as Barrett Wilbert Weed (Janis) signed it. "Alright, now lets get this bitch for lying." Sam said from behind him. Pepper rolled her eyes, but still held on to Tony's arm with excitement.
They knocked on the door of James Martins' dressing room. "One sec," he called.
They all shared glances. That was Peter all right. The door open to see Tony, raising an eyebrow in amusement. "Excuse me, sorry to bother you, but could you sign my playbill?" Tony's voice was monotone, void of emotion. Peter winced slight,y and took the sharpie from his hand, signing his fake name.
"Uh, did you find out about Mj yet?" He asked timidly. Tony sighed.
"Kid, why didn't you tell us?"
"It's not exactly something I boast around. I like it to be my little secret. It took me seven years of knowing Ned before I told him!" Peter scratched the back of his neck and opened the door a little more, revealing Mj is in his dressing room. "And Mj."
Tony took a deep breath. "Look, I really liked the show, you both did great, now could you sign my playbill? Real or fake, I want all the names on this thing. I'll be damned if being a Stark doesn't get me this. I've gotten it for every show I've seen except for Hairspray because Pepper and I had a dinner reservation."
