Peter Banjamin Parker-Potts-Stark was adopted by Tony and Pepper roughly eight months after the so called Civil War. He moved into the New York Avengers Tower about a week before that. They had a routine. After school, Peter would patrol until 7. when the family would have dinner. Peter would do his homework, which took him a while. On Mondays, they would get together after that and watch a movie. On Saturday, May and Happy, thye newlyweds, came over for dinner and they spen the night. Every other day Tony and Peter would work in the lab into the late hours of the night. They slept in the lab more oftenh then they slept in bed. This routine had been going on for about four months until a meteor came to disrupt the balance in the form of the Rouges.

Peter and Tony had fallen asleep working on a new Rescue Suit for Pepper's birthday. Peter was on the table, drooling on hisarm. Tony was sprawled out on the light brown couch they kept there. Toynwas twitching and mumbling. Until his nightmare meory got to the part of Steve hovering the shield above the arc reactor, poised to kill. Tony let out a whimper. "Cap. Cap please. Steve, don't do this. Please. Please, don't do this." It continued in a range of the same and it woke Peter up.

Peter spring right into action, sitting at his fathers side and grasping his hand to keep him grounded. He softly began to sing his favorite Italian lullaby, which pulled him out of the nightmare.

Tony's eyes shot open and he put both his hands tightly on Peter's hand. "Pep? Oh. Pete. Hey. How you doing? I didn't wake you up did I?"

"Dad, it's fine. Was it... him?" Peter's words were laced with venom.

Tony sat open, releasing his grip on Peter. "Yeah, but that's not important."

"Yes it is! Dad, he was supposed to be your friend, your teammate, and he tried to kill you because you were upset he knew that his best friend murdered your parents! I know he didn't have a choice and that's not on him. It's on Steve."

Tony sighed and pat Peter on the back. "What would I do without you kid?"

"Probably not get as many problems done in the lab that's for sure. Let's go to bed."

The two both went to their respective rooms and slept for the rest of the night.

Peter came home from school and tossed his backpack at the edge of the doorframe as he walked into the room. He had gotten shot last week and while he had already healed, his dad wouldn't let him go on patrol yet.

"Hey, could we watch the Prisoner of Azkaban tonigh...."

He stopped, seeing he had walked into a danger zone. The rouges were on one side of the room, and his father was on the other.

"Who the hell are you kid?" Clint asked.

"I don't see how that's the concern of a war criminal." He responded, his voice tight.

"I don't know how you got passed Friday, kid, but I'm going to have to ask you to leave this building." Steve said. "Now."

"No, Rogers." Peter stepped closer. "I'm going to have to ask you to leave this building. Because, you see, my father shouldn't have to deal with this bullshit."

"Peter.." Tony said, trying to keep Peter from starting a fight.

"No, Dad! These people have been out there, breaking laws, and you've been here paying for it and picking up the pieces even after what they did to you! They shouldn't get to walk back in like nothing happened and expect to be treated like heroes again! I won't let them, I won't stand for it!"

"Dad? I see your playboy ways caught up to you, Tony." Steve said. Peter punched him in the face. He fell back, his nose bleeding. "Holy shit this kid just broke my nose. Who the hell are you? What makes you think you have the right to assault someone?!"

"What makes you think you have the right to try and kill my father because you broke the Avengers apart for the man who killed his parents!?"

Natasha, who was helping Steve stand, stopped. "What do you mean try to kill him? I thought you just fought?"

Peter smiled evilly. "Good. Let me enlighten you. Steve here, fought my father over Bucky. I understand he was brainwashed and had no say in what he did. I understand that. Steve, however, stood up for him and knew what happened and tried to keep it from someone who was supposed to be his teammate. They were fighting, and Steve broke the Arc Reactor, and left." Everyone gasped. Steve looked at his shoes. "My father told him he did t deserve the shield, as Howard Stark made it and after what he did, he wouldn't have wanted him to have it. Steve left the shield, but did nothing to help my dad. If I hadn't found him he'd be dead. And, FYI Rogers, my father adopted me so no. It isn't his playboy says catching up to him it's him being a good fucking person."

He kicked Steve in the nuts and walked toward his father. "Kid, stand down!" Tony said. Peter turned to him, eyes still blazing with anger. Tony took a step back.

"Last night, you woke up with a nightmare that I hadn't gotten there in time to save you. Just like has happened every night since it happened. I don't think I should stand down." Peter turned back to Steve. "Spar me. Let's go to the training room and we spar. Whoever wins gets to decide wether the others fate. In three days. Until then, stay off this floor. Go to floor 17. That's better suited for your needs." Peter grabbed his father and left the room. Tony would have laughed if he wasn't terrified that his son was gonna kill Steve. Because floor 17 is the floor with holding cells and prisons.

Peter was in the training room lifting weights. Steve was next to him. Steve was lifting 3 tons and was struggling slightly. Peter was lifting 80 tons with one arm while scrolling through his phone. The Rouges were staring from behind the glass they elected was safe enough to watch behind. Tony stood on the other side of the room, arms crossed. "Guess he decided to go easy today." He said. The others heard and turned to him, wide eyed.

Peter sighed. "I'm bored." He dropped the weights and it dented the floor. "Let's fight now." Peter put his phone away and they got on the mat. Steve got his shield. Peter smiled.

Suddenly they were fighting. Steve was all offensive, trying to get his punches in. Peter was dogging left and right. Steve finally managed to hit his shoulder with enough force to make anyone fall down, but Peter didn't even faulted. He was swift and fluid, like a dancer. He slid down and kicked down Steve's legs. Steve fell and Peter took his chance to hop off the mat and get in his shots. Peter started punching and kicking Peter grabbed Steve's leg and pulled it back father than it should've gone, then twisted. Steve was screaming in pain. "Yield"

Peter pulled him up and sat him in a chair. "Good. Now get the hell down to the medbay. You look like shit." He walked out.

Later, he decided they could stay but only if the signed the original contract of the Sokovia Accords, not the ones Tony had modified for their liking, and they couldn't speak to Tony. They stayed on a separate floor and only interacted during mission. A month later, Peter seemed them okay to move back into their old rooms and they joined the family movie nights. It took some time, but eventually they because a family again. But they were all still fucking terrified of Peter.
