Peter was sitting in his room crying to himself. It was his birthday and no one remembered.

Aunt May was dead, all the Avengers treated the day like any other, Mj was visiting colleges, Ned was on vacation, and he was alone. The only person that might've remembered was Sam and Bucky, who were on a mission.

"Peter, Bucky and Sam have arrived. Bucky is a skin for you." Peter wipes his tears and stood up, walking to the living room. He got there to see Bucky on one side of the room, glaring at everyone.

Peter smiled at him, pretending he was okay. "Hi, Bucky! Is everything okay? Friday said you called me and I hope everything is okay because I have to get back to my homework."

"Well, no Peter. Everything is not okay." Peter stood up straighter. "Because I just got back and everyone is treating it like a regular day. And I'm not really okay with that, so tell everyone what today is."

Peter knew exactly what he meant. "August 10th." He knew but would never make his family feel bad.

"Yes, and what is August 10th?"

Peter sighed and glanced at everyone.

He stayed silent.

"Okay fine. Tony, when is Peters birthday?" Bucky said.

"September 19th."

"Peter?"

"Uh, not exactly." Tony's eyebrows furrowed. "That's the day you adopted me, but not my birthday."

"What are you talking about? I adopted you on September 18th. Because we celebrated your birthday right after."

"No, we celebrated the adoption. My birthday isn't in September."

"Im such an idiot. I'm so sorry Pete. When's your birthday?"

Peter mumbled.

"You're going to have to speak up kid."

"August 10th." Bucky said for him. "In other words, today."

Bucky took a parcel from behind him and handed it to Peter. "Happy Birthday."

Peter took the package and engulfed Bucky in a hug.

"Thank you for remembering." He whispered.

"How could I forget." Bucky said, shooting Tony a glare.

They pulled away and the team all looked heartbroken.

"Kid, I..." Peter looked Tony in he eyes and just started walking.

He walked to the elevator, out the building, and right to Mays grave.
