Before I Forget Your Love

Ch.7 Lithium

" you have to over come your fears you're no longer a kid you know ! " Val said as she winked.

" I'm not scared .. It's just too fast .. oh look a shooting booth.. Imma try that .. " Scarlet said excited.

" Whoa! I've known you for years but I didn't know you know how to shoot .. where did you learn that ? " Val said surprised when Scarlet got all the targets..

" Dad taught me how to hold a rifle and he told me everything about focusing and all that " Scarlet answered as she was putting the rifle down.

" You gotta teach me some day, you know ! " Val said.

Scarlet won a big teddy as usual but for her it didn't matter , she was proud that she still got the talent .. 

Scarlet put the teddy bear in the back seat as Val sat in the car " what about staying at my place for tonight ? " Val suggested.

"I'm not sure, Val .. I mean I'd love to but I'm tired and I'd be boring if I slept right away .. the girls sleepover wouldn't be fun like before .. I became boring, I think " Scarlet said.

Obviously Scarlet's in a low mood..Val smiled and touched Scarlet's hand as she stopped the engine suddenly to say..

"first ,you're not boring at all.. you're the most talented , funny and beautiful girl I've ever met and You won't believe it If I told you that I'm tired and want to sleep too .. but I don't wanna sleep alone , I want to sleep in your arms .. just like that ! " Val explained.

Scarlet blushed and kissed Val on cheek.. That's before Val started the car heading home ..

Next day , They woke up early for work .. Scarlet sent Val a message as she was going to school.. " How can you be so understanding and beautiful when you sleep .. <3 " 

It was quiet a long day and as soon as it was 3 , Scarlet headed home to take a shower.. She called Val but she didn't pick up.. "She must be busy" Scarlet thought.

After taking a shower Scarlet took a nap .. she woke up to a strange voice outside her room but soon she recognized that voice .. It was her Maggie talking to Tiffany..

She looked at the phone to find that it's 7 and 2 missed calls from Val .. " Hey, honey ! I called you after I finished work but you didn't answer .. is everything ok ? "

" I'm fine  .. I need to see you .. I'm coming in 10 minutes.. we need to talk , okay ? " Val said.

Scarlet felt confused .. she wondered "what is the matter" .. she got nervous to see Val she didn't know why.. they've been neighbors for years but it feels different now !

Scarlet got dressed quickly and stepped out of her room to hurry getting out when she suddenly bumped into Tiffany as she got out of the rest room.. Tiffany turned around standing close to Scarlet who felt awkward for being too close to this woman. so she decided to say anything ..     "I'm sorry, I didn't see you .. are you alright .. I was in a hurry and ..." Scarlet noticed she talks too much before she took her bag .. but Tiffany looked at her half smiling seemed amazed.

" It's ok .. It's a good coincidence to see you .. I mean not at your home for sure ! but I haven't seen you in a while .. hope you're fine ! "

"Yes , more than fine actually , thanks for asking " Scarlet said as she blushed praying Tiff didn't see it .. she would probably think I'm dumb.. 

" see you soon.. bye " Scarlet said smiling widely to Tiff who stared at her as she walked out of the front door..

'Come on Val , Where are you ? .. Scarlet waited for 30 minutes but Val didn't show up .. so she decided to go to Val's place.. Scarlet felt worried as she knocked on the door but nobody opened! She didn't understand what was happening but she thought of the place Val might be.. 

Scarlet entered Waterlo's Cafe looking for Val .. She tried to call her again but no reply.. she was afraid something's wrong has happened..till her phone buzzed..

"Val, Where the hell are you.. you scared me ! ?" Scarlet asked.

"I'm okay , I'm okay don't worry .. I forgot to tell you about my interview with a business man tonight .. see you tomorrow ? " Val said.

" but .. You said you wanted to talk .. What was it about ? I'm confused ! " Scarlet wondered as Val replied quickly " It doesn't matter now .. It can wait till tomorrow .. don't worry about it .. "

Scarlet felt that there was no need to be worried any more but she wasn't comfortable she didn't know why !! " Okay babe ! Stay safe "

She had a cup of coffee at Waterlo's as she was holding a pencil writing a poem about what she feels .. It might be about Val but it sounds cheesy to write her a poem .. she felt silly but wrote it anyways .. 

" When I looked at your lips,   my whole mind was attracted.  But I couldn't steal a kiss, I wasn't ready for the end.  Now I know what life means, I took more than I deserve."

Scarlet felt bored as she watched FaceBook story updates .. Linda posted an update .. a vid for her celebrating her birthday .. Scarlet smiled as she was watching till she saw Val in the video.. She checked the time .. it was 10 minutes ago..
