Adrian woke up, hearing whimpers. He glanced at the clock, seeing it was around 3 a.m., and looked at Bailey, who seemed to be in pain.

"No, please." Bailey whispered, barely audible, "N-No, it hurts."

Adrian hurried out of bed and knelt by Bailey's bed, reaching out to hold his hand, which was cold, clammy with sweat.

"Bailey, hey, it's okay I'm here." he said, but Bailey didn't respond, "Bailey." he said louder, but still gently.

He bit his lip and leaned forward, kissing Bailey's forehead, and making his eyelids flutter.

"Bailey." Adrian said, shaking the hand he held, "Hey, wake up."

Bailey stopped whimpering, but his eyes still moved rapidly behind his eyelids, his expression uneasy. Adrian sighed and stood up, bending down to pick the small boy up like a princess, and put him down on his bed.

Bailey's eyes opened then and he looked at Adrian in confusion.

Adrian put his hands on his hips, smirking a little, "You were having trouble sleeping." he said, and got into bed next to Bailey, wrapped his arms around him and snuggled guys face against his back, "Now go to sleep, I still have 3 and a half hours to go before I need to wake up."

Bailey sucked in a breath and put his hand over Adrian's, "O-Okay." he said softly, his eyes closing and sleep coming easily to him.

The next morning, Adrian woke up and looked at the clock. 6:04, not bad, he managed to get up in time.

He found that he was still up against Bailey and felt butterflies in his stomach, squeezing Bailey tightly, rubbing his nose into the crook of his neck.

He heard a soft giggle, and Bailey moved a little in his arms, "Adrian, your nose is cold."

"All of me is cold, you're taking up all of the blanket." Adrian deadpanned, and then laughed, eyes crinkling, "Kidding, summer's almost here, it's warm." he took his arm off of Bailey, but Bailey whined and grabbed it, pulling it back.

"I don't think it's warm." he said, eyes still closed, "I'm cold. And you keep me warm."

Adrian chuckled, "I'm sorry, I have football practice before school starts." he said into Bailey's ear, "I have to talk to coach about Tristan."

Bailey sighed, "Fine." he said, letting go of Adrian's arm, "But make time for my later today. I want to hang out with you."

Adrian sat up in bed, smiling. How was Bailey so freaking cute?

"Of course." he said, "I want to hang with you too."

He put his hand on Bailey's small, smooth back and rubbed it lightly.

"I'll come get you for breakfast, okay?"

"Okay." Bailey said softly, clutching Adrian's blanket to himself and inhaling deeply through his nose, taking in Adrian's scent.

Adrian laughed, "You like the smell?" and Bailey nodded. His face was hidden but Adrian could see his ears going red. He stood up, yawning, and stretched, "I like how you smell too."

Bailey's eyes snapped open and he turned to look at Adrian, surprised, and Adrian winked at him before going into the bathroom, leaving Bailey dumb-founded.

Ohmygod OHMYGOD what did you just do, he thought to himself, why did he never think before he spoke to Bailey. He splashed water on his face, trying to freshen up. His feelings were getting out of hand he didn't know what to do about it.
