Brad has to help his parents with something today and my mom leaves tonight so we though we would spend the day together. I wake up and go downstairs to find that she already made breakfast and is sitting at the table.

"Did I wake you?" She asks when she sees me "I was trying not to make too much noise."

"No, I woke up sick." I get some food and sit across from her "How long have you been up?"

"Maybe an hour." She looks as me and I can tell things are about to get serious "How are things with you and Brad? You never really told me what happened."

"It's a long story." I sigh thinking about where to start "He did cheat, but mostly against his will. She had him convinced nothing was wrong with it, and even though he didn't want to he did. Angie flat out told me the day you got here what happened. I know how guilty and sorry he feels, I also know he'd never try to hurt me. He's been nothing but great to me the past 7 years."

Before I can say anything else she cuts me off "So you really are happy with him? You aren't together just for the baby?"

I know she cares and that's why she asks these things, but she should know by now when I'm truly happy, and I am. "I am happy with him, I love him so much, and this baby is the best thing that's happened to us."

I can see her start to smile as if she was playing a game by asking the questions "Good because I would hate to see you unhappy."

A few hours later, my mom and I are shopping for me looking at some maternity clothes.

"I feel like half the shirts I have now are already a little stretched out." I complain while putting some shirts in the cart.

My mom looks at me up and down for a minute "How far are you now?"

"2 months." I put a few more shirts in the cart then look at some pants "Brad keeps telling me that it's just me feeling like I'm bigger than I am."

"I think he's right, I don't really notice anything." She walks towards some dresses showing me some "These are cute."

I look at them carefully taking the purple one and a black one "I like these. Where did you find them?"

She points to a big stand I should have been able to see myself "They have a lot of different ones, I just didn't want to carry them all over here."

I walk over looking at all of them holding up a dark red one, light blue, and purple "How do these look?"

"Cute!" She smiles "They'll all look really nice on you." She leaves and goes to look at some other things while I look at shoes. While I'm looking, my phone rings and it's Brad so I answer.

"Hey, how's everything with your parents?" I ask him.

"Good, I'm actually done. That's why I called. Do you guys want to do something? I'm a little bored."

"Well, we're shopping now, if you want to do that. Maybe we can go to eat somewhere."

"let's eat somewhere. Maybe a late lunch? It's 12:30 now. We could meet around 2."

"That sounds good. I'll let her know then text you back about where."

"Okay, bye." We hang up and I go back to shopping for a while until I find my mom and we leave to meet Brad at the restaurant.

I walk up to the hostess and tell her who we are and they take my mom and I to the table while we wait for Brad.

"Do you guys come here a lot?" My mom asks "It seems like a nice place."

"We used to come at least once a week, but we got busier so now we do sometimes." I notice Brad walking up and move over so he can sit next to me.

"Sorry." He sits down "There was a lot of traffic, some accident near our house."

"Wow, I hope everyone is ok." My mom puts her menu down "You guys have been great the past few days. Thanks so much for having me."

"You're welcome. It was really nice to finally meet you in person." Brad look back and forth between her and I "I hope the two of you had a good time."

"We did." She looks across as me "It was great to see you again, reminds me of why I loved you those 10 years. I knew we would work it out at some point."

I can tell that I'm about to cry again soon, happy tears, or course "I knew we would too. I couldn't be happier that we did. I can't believe you're already leaving tonight, these days went by fast."

She immediately gets a sad look on her face "Well maybe sometime you guys can come out to New York, or I can always come back here. We'll just have to work something out."

"I'd love to go to New York I haven't been there in forever unless it was for filming. I'd like to get to enjoy it once." Brad thinks about something for a while "Maybe in 2 or 3 months we can visit, we'll both be off at that time."

"You guys are more than welcome to visit anytime, I love it when I'm with family."

We all finish eating and go back home where we sit going through some old pictures of Brad and I so my mom can see what she's missed.

"This was right after we started dating." Brad shows her pictures of us with some if our friends and one of us sitting together.

"Wow, so that was like 8 years ago?" She asks as he hands them to her "You guys look almost the same." She looks over at the one I'm holding and covers her mouth in shock "Was that your wedding?"

"Yeah, it was as we were saying our vows." I remember back to the day for a little "That was one of the best days of my life, I wish I was smart enough to invite you."

"It's not your fault, at the time you did what was right." She looks at a few of the other pictures from the same day "You were beautiful, and you both looked so happy."

"That's a day I'll truly never forget. I remember almost all of it." Brad leans in towards me wrapping his arm around me "I wish we could keep looking at these, but the flight leaves in a little over an hour so we should probably leave."

My mom quickly packs and we get in the car to leave and drive to the airport. Once we get there Brad and I take her as far as we can then go back out to the car to stay away from paparazzi.

"I miss her." I start to cry a little on the way back "After 10 years of not talking, we have so much catching up we need to do."

He wraps his arms around me kissing my forehead "You'll see each other again soon, and now that you're talking you'll catch us pretty quickly. Just think, in a few months you guys will be talking about little things the baby is doing."

Thinking about the baby makes me smile right away "I can't wait for all of that. I'm so excited for all these new things."
