Brad is filming one of his movies in Pittsburgh, PA and he thought it would be a good idea for the girls and I to come with him. It's been really nice so far except for the weather being so different than home. One day it was fairly nice, 2 days ago it was pouring and now today we got almost a foot of now. I guess PA weather really is bipolar. The girls have been begging me to take them out to play in the snow, but Brad is working and right now they don't have heavy enough jackets, so I have to buy them some. I put on some Christmas movies in an attempt to entertain them and close all the curtains so they can't see the snow.

"Let's watch this, you all love Frosty!" I say getting them and putting them on the couch with me to watch it "What's his nose?" I ask them hoping they get it right. They all think for a little before Jess yells carrot. "Good job, honey!" I congratulate her and continue asking them questions until they all answer a few. After Frosty is done I put another movie on for them whilst I make us all lunch. I have them movie to the table to eat so they don't make a mess and just as we finish Brad walks in and says he finished filming early. He walks over to where I am cleaning, hands me a shopping bag and kisses me "I got them coats and stuff on the way home. I wanted to buy you something and their stuff was in the same shop."

I look through the bag pulling out their jackets, gloves and hats and don't see anything else in the bag. Did he forget about me? Before I have a chance to say anything, he has my hand and is pulling towards the corner of the kitchen then hands me a ring box. I open it and it's empty, so I look up at him confused "Brad, what are you doing?"

He then surprises me by taking a ring out of his pocket and taking my right hand and sliding it on my ring finger "It's a birthstone ring, I saw you looking at one in a magazine the other day."

"It's beautiful, Brad. Thank you." I look up at him and kiss him sweetly "I love it." It has his birthstone, mine, Shay's and then the twins and engraved it has 'Pitt'. I stay there with him, our arms around each other as we watch the girls find and try to get their jackets on not knowing that I'll be taking them off and putting them back on in a few minutes.

"Okay, I guess I should get you girls dressed." I tell them causing them to get upset that they have to let me take them off. We look through what we brought for them for a while trying to find something for them to wear. I don't want them to get cold and since they aren't used to this weather I find the warmest clothes I can find, their pajamas. Brad thinks it's funny, but I point out that all their other stuff is mostly short sleeve or not heavy because this apartment is hot. I get their jackets off of them and look closer at the rest of the stuff and look at Brad confused when I see their hats "Steelers hats?" I ask him.

"That's all they had." He tells me, trying to convince me that he's telling the truth "Okay, I thought they were cute, and they say 'Pitt' on them."

"You're lucky I like them too." I don't pay much attention to football, but the Steelers are the best team, and it's cute that they have our last name on them.

I lay out the girls footie pajamas because they're warmest and strip them all down, changing the twins whilst Brad takes Shay to the bathroom. They squirm around making it hard until I tell them the sooner they let me dress them the quicker they can go out and play in the snow.

"Momma I Ella?" Aly asks me when she sees her Cinderella pajamas I'm putting on her. She really tries to say the whole name but every time it comes out as Ella.

"You are, sweetie!" I tell her as I zip up the pajamas. She then sits there quietly so I can get Jess in her Ariel pajamas.

"We play snow?" Jess asks excitedly jumping around.

I put both on their hats and stand them up "You can play really soon, daddy just has to get Shay ready and I have to put your jackets and gloves on." They take the hint and each get their jackets and give them to me. I help them get them on the right way this time then put their gloves on and find their snow boots to put on. They go and sit in the living room where Brad is helping Shay get dressed and I go to our closet to find something warm for me. I grab a pair of jeans, boots and a long sleeve shirt and my jacket then go out and meet them where they're waiting for me.

"Ready to go play?" I ask picking up Jess and following Brad out the door to the yard. We put all of them down and let them try to walk through the snow, laughing at them when they all give up at the same time.

Brad walks up to them reaching out a hand to each of them "You need to be a little taller, the show is almost as high as you!" He helps the twins walk around while I help Shay, but she's a little taller and can walk a little better.

"I play now?" She asks me letting go of my hand and picking up some snow.

I help her make it into a snowball then lean down next to her and whisper into her ear "Throw it at daddy."

He turns around to stop her because he heard me talking and she throws it at just the right time that it hits him right in the chest. "Thanks for that, sweetie." He picks up a snowball and throws it right at me knowing that I told her to throw it.

"Jerk!" I yell at him picking another one up throwing it at him. The twins join in and they 'throw' some little piles of snow at Shay and back and forth at each other whilst Brad and I do the same. I bend down to get more and as I stand up he smashes a huge snowball right in my face. I look at him trying so hard to be pissed off, but at the same time laughing at it. He pulls me closer wrapping his arms around me and kisses me. Our faces are freezing, but the warmth of being close helps and we stay like that for a while listening to the girls laughing around us.

We break our embrace to watch the girls and I think of something else for them to do. "Do you want to make snow angels?" I ask them "They're fun!" I add on exciting them. I help them lay down and tell them to move their arms and legs.

"Move your arms a little more, angels fly." Brad reminds them and helps them. He then helps them stand up and gets a stick carving "Aly, Jess and Shay" in front of theirs.

I sit in the snow next to Shay's and pull Brad with me on the other side and we each make one of our own then write "Brad & Jen." I then walk backwards a little and write "Pitt and 2008" in the middle then take a picture of it.

Brad walks up behind me and wraps his arms around me "If only they were always angles." He says as we watch them having another snowball fight and trying to hit each other in the face like Brad did to me. "You better stop them." I laugh, this is all his fault.
