I love you

It's valentine's day and I decided that this year I'm going to surprise Brad. I already know he is taking me out for dinner, so I decide to go out shopping for a new dress. I have plenty, but I love surprising him with new ones. When Shay gets up the first time I get up with her and get her dressed then get myself ready and leave. Driving around I find a few nice smaller shops that are just opening and decide to give them a try. I get Shay out of her seat and walk in where I am greeted by a nice lady, who apparently is a fan.

She tells me to follow her then shows me where the dresses are "I'll be over at the checkout counter, if you have any questions, just ask." She walks back over leaving me to look.

I find a few black and red that I like and am going to decide between them before I see a cute black and red one. Looking at the dress closer I see a rose pattern on it and decide that's the one that I want. I put it in the cart then go over to look at some shoes and jewelry. After I find a pair of black heels I like and a matching necklace and bracelet I take everything over to pay.

"Did you find everything okay?" The sales lady asks

"Yep, it was hard to decide, you have a lot of nice stuff." I tell her as I pay "I'll definitely remember this place for if we're in the area again." I take the bag and put Shay in her car seat before driving back to our 'house'. When I get inside I put the bag on the couch and Shay on the floor.

Brad turns around from where he's cooking "Why were you not here when I woke up? You better have a good reason!" He tries to act mad at me "I was going to make you heart pancakes and everything."

"Awe, well can I still have the pancakes?" I walk over and kiss him "I was actually getting something for you."

He thinks for a while then pulls a plate he had hidden and gives it to me "Well, I guess if you were getting something for me."

I put the plate on the table then pick up Shay along with a banana to feed her, but she keeps trying to get the pancakes "Brad, can you make a really small pancake? She wants mine." I get her to eat a little more of the banana then start eating my breakfast "They're really good."

He brings over a plate with a tiny pancake on it and rips a piece off to feed to Shay and she eats it's right away "The reservations are for 7:30, I thought I would make them later and it wouldn't be as busy." He starts to eat himself "I figured that way we could also put her to bed when we get home."

"Smart thinking." I rip up the little pancake completely so Shay can feed herself while we watch "I have a surprise for you, and it's not what I got earlier. That was just a dress."

He looks at me smiling like a little kid "What's the surprise?"

I go to our room and look in my suitcase for a while until I find it then walk back into the kitchen and give it to Brad "Open it." I tell him as I sit back down.

He opens it then looks at me confused "A script? It has your name on it." He thinks for a while "Wait, are you doing a new movie?"

"Actually," I point towards the names on the front page "We're doing a movie, if you sign on for it."

"Really?" He asks excited then slowly changes to a little upset "But what about Shay? Who watches her?"

"My mom will. It's only a few hours a day, and she lives in New York anyway." I hand him other papers he needs to fill out and a pen "It's up to you. If you don't do it, I don't."

He eagerly takes the pen from my hand filling out the papers he needs to then looks through the script "This looks like a funny movie."

"I think it will be."

A few hours later I'm getting dressed and ready for dinner. I start to do my hair in light waves and do a black smokey eye to match my dress. Once I'm done with my hair and makeup I put my dress on and walk out to where Brad is playing with Shay "Can you zip this up? I can't reach it."

He gets up and does so then follows me back into our room "You look amazing." He starts to get dressed himself "We have to leave in about 20 minutes."

I quickly put my shoes on then my jewelry "I'm done now." I walk out to Shay and pick her up "I'm going to change her, then we can go."

Once I'm done we get into the car and drive to the restaurant. We get in and Brad tells the hostess and a few minutes later she leads us to our table. We order our food once the waitress comes, and talk to each other for a while.

"I can't belive we leave tomorrow, I'm going to miss it here." I look our the window next to our table "It's so beautiful."

Brad reaches into one if the side compartments in the diaper bag and pulls out a card handing it to me "Happy Valentine's day."

I open the card and read the message, then what Brad wrote to me and I look up at him teary eyed "You somehow always make me cry with your little messages."

He hands me a napkin to clean up my face "I'm just that good." Taking my hands he looks me deeply in my eyes "I love you."

"I love you, too." I fill with happiness knowing that I really do have the best husband and life "And you too, sweetie." I tell Shay.

I've never really thought about valentine's day as a big holiday, I always thought you should celebrate love everyday, sitting here with Brad and Shay makes me realize I was right. Everyday I love them even more, and a day like today just seems like an extra way to show the love. As I'm deep in thought thinking, Brad is trying to get my attention.

"Jen, did you bring any bottles for her? She's hungry." He asks me

I get a bottle from the diaper bag that he could have easily seen and get Shay then put her on my lap so she can eat "When do you think our food will get here?"

He looks at the time "I hope soon. It's already almost 8:30." Just as he says that the waitress brings our food. I put Shay back in her highchair when she's done and start to eat my food, as Brad does the same. We finish eating then pay for our food and get in the car to go home. Shay falls asleep on the way home so when we get back Brad puts her in bed while I go to our room.

He walks in our room just as I'm about to take off my dress and walks over to me doing it himself "It's more fun when I get to do it." He tells me as he gently slides it down my body "You don't need this anymore." He slides it off my body and throws it across the room before picking me up and kissing me passionately. He sits me on the bed and I slowly take his top off before kissing him all over his bare chest admiring it "You're so sexy." I tell him as I move my way back up to his lips. He pins me down so I'm laying flat on the bed and starts kissing my neck. I start to moan louder and I tilt my head back to give him better access.

I take off his pants letting him slide out of them before I slide my finger between his skin and boxes band where I can feel that he's hard. He groans a little trying to get me to stop teasing him and take his boxers off so I do. He quickly takes off my panties and start to tease me as I run my hands all down his back pulling him closer.

He finally enters me carefully at first then thrusting harder as he continues to kiss me all over my neck and chest. We both finish and lay on the bed next to each other trying to pull ourselves together.

I finally catch my breath and look over at Brad "You really amaze me."

"I love you baby." He smiles and kisses me sweetly "I hope you had a good day."

"I love you too." I kiss him back as we both falk asleep.
