Brad and I decided that we would spend today getting what we need for the twins, and paint their room when we get home. We drive around LA trying to find a store that doesn't look too busy and once we finally do Brad pulls into the parking lot and we get out.

"This is going to be so much easier without her here running around." I tell Brad about Shay, who is with my parents at a picnic "Especially with the room, she'd have that a mess."

He agrees with me and gets a cart once we get in the store walking towards the furniture section "So, we need two cribs, and then the rest of the furniture we only need one of each?"

"That should be good, if we get the same we had for Shay they had a lot of room in them." I look around for the same crib we have for Shay and tell Brad when I find it "So all we need is the other furniture." I tell him as I pick out the other furniture we need.

Brad points out a sign for sheets and starts walking towards it "You said we need a lot of these."

"Yeah, we only have like 2 left." I go through them and grab a bunch with butterflies or flowers on them and put them all in the cart.

"Are we still doing the room pink?" Brad asks me as he's standing looking at paint colors "These are cute." He holds up a pale pink and one just a little darker "We could do both." I tell him I like it and we buy everything. The owners tell us they will have the furniture at our house in the next few days so we go home to paint.

I watch Brad as he carefully takes all the paint off the wall getting it ready. He sands it down and puts a tarp on the floor so the carpet it protected. I help him tape around the windows and the ceiling so that the paint doesn't get messed up. Once we're done with all of that he opens the primer and starts to get the walls ready for the actual paint. We get rollers and start to put the primer all over the walls and have some fun doing it painting our names and then going over them. To pass time until the primer dries we get the other paint colors out and start to mix them so that they're ready. I mix the darker color while Brad does the lighter, then we get out all the decorations and get them ready for when we can hang them up. We have the letters J, M, P and A, R, P to hang over their cribs just like we did Shay. I go to our room and change into more comfortable clothes that won't matter if pink paint gets on them and go back to the room where Brad has already started painting.

"That's a really good color." I admire what he has already painted of the darker color "It's not too dark, but darker than the other, it's going to look really nice."

"I told you it would." He hands me the other roller and paint trey "We have to get this done before they bring her back and we only have 2 hours."

I start on the other side of the room and paint carefully so I don't mess up. Just as I'm about halfway done Brad finishes his side and helps me with mine. When we're done he tells me to work on the letters while he does the bottom half since that would be harder for me.

"How do you think I should do these?" I ask him holding up the letters "It will blend in too much if I do one of the pinks."

He walks over to our room then comes back with a small container of light grey paint "I got this when you weren't looking, I kinda figured you forgot about what to paint them."

I take the paint from him and carefully paint the letters so that they're even and all look nice. I try to think of something creative to do, so I wait until they're dry then get a little of each pink color. For Jessica's I take a little of the light and the dark and put a few dots of each color on the letters, then I do the same for Alyssa's. Brad tells me to go take a shower and relax when I'm done and that he'll have the rest done for me to see soon.

I take his advice and decide to take a shower to relax for a little. I wait for the water to get warm, then I get in and stay there for a while, letting the hot water hit my tired, achy body. I'm immediately relieved of the tiny pains that have recently taken over my life, and start to feel relaxed. When I'm done I dry off and get in bed and take a nap. I fall asleep almost immediately and sleep straight through until Brad tells me to go look at the room. I try to sleep longer since I'm still tired, but he makes me get up so I go to see it.

I stand at the door and look all around the room completely surprised "Oh my God, you did all of it." I turn around to where he is and kiss him "I love it! It's perfect."

"It gets better." He pulls me in the room towards the side with the closest and I see Shay sitting there playing with her toys.

She runs up to me right away when she sees me "Hi, mommy!!!" She brings her toys over to where I am and tells me to sit down "We play."

"Did you help daddy?" I ask her, but look at Brad for an answer and he shakes him head yes "What did you help him with?"

"I decorate!" She gets up and points to the stickers she helped Brad put up then sits back down with her toys giving me one "That new."

I look at Brad confused and he answers me telling me that she saw it when she was with my parents and they bought it for her. We stay there playing with her stuffed animals for a while and Brad asks her what some of them are before we all start to get hungry. Brad makes us burgers while I get some chips and drinks ready then take them out to the table. Shay helps me by carrying the plates then runs off to play on her slide until I make her stop and eat. We all sit outside eating and Shay tries to tell us about everything she did with my parents, but has a hard time telling us since she's getting tired. I look at the time and realize that it's already 8:30 and we spent over an hour listening to her.
