I can't wait

Brads POV

Shay walks in our room somehow and wakes me up so I take her downstairs quietly not to wake Jen. I'd have to be up soon anyway to do things before the interview later. I get her downstairs where she complains because she wants Jen and tell her she has to deal with me for a little.

"Mommy better." She tells me as she keeps trying to go back upstairs to her "I wake her."

"No you wont." I pick her up and hold her legs so she can't kick me then take her and put her in a chair at the table "Mommy's really tired she needs to sleep. She'll be up with you later today while I'm away."

That doesn't suit her and she tries to get off the chair "Please daddy!!!" She yells trying to convince me and runs to the stairs when we hear Jen walking upstairs "She up!"

I pick her up again, this time holding her not letting her get down and take her to the counter where I sit her and don't let her move "I told you that mommy's tired, you can't keep doing this. You need to listen to us." I let her down when she starts crying and she runs right up to Jen and tells her I'm mean.

Jen just walks by her to the fridge for food and then sits at the table "He's right, you need to start listening. I can't always be with you." She lets Shat stand there upset for a little before picking her up and putting her on her lap "I love you, but you can't get everything you want."

I walk over and kiss Jen good morning then quickly eat and get what I need before walking towards the door "I'll see you guys later I guess." I hug Shay when she finally decides she likes me again.

"When will you be filming for Jimmy?" Jen asks as I'm about to walk out the door "Maybe we'll visit you for a little."

"I have to be there from 1 to 3 so I guess anytime around then." I say goodbye again before walking out the door and driving to the photo shoot /interview I need to do.

The interviewer comes to interview me while I'm in the chair for hair and makeup.

How was it to work on a movie with your wife?

"Amazing, it was one of the things we've wanted to do since we started dating."

Your life has changed a lot since your last movie, what would you say is the best part of being a parent?

"I think it would have to be when she asks us to play with her, or wants us to all be doing something together. Or just seeing how happy Jen is with her."

Was it hard to film this movie knowing you both would be away from Shaelyn for so long?

"A little, more for Jen, but we saw her as much as we could."

I answer a few more questions then go to the dressing room. They give me a few different outfits to wear and the photographer tells me different poses to do. She starts off with some simple standing positions then goes to some more difficult. Some are of me leaning on a chair, or laying on it, then for some she has me pose with different models until we're done.

From there, I go to Jimmy Kimmel where I meet Jen and Shay in my dressing room.

"How did you guys get here before me?" I ask Jen as I pick Shay up when she runs up to me.

Jen walks over and kisses me "We went to my parents for a little so we were only about 20 minutes away." She takes Shay from me and puts her on the floor then walks over to the couch "So, what all are you going to announce?"
