A Kiss of Goodbye

01: Bus Encounter

It's a beautiful afternoon, I am taking comfort from the scenery while in the bus. I'm on my favorite hobby... I closed the distance between the window glass and my face, feeling the subtle warmth of the sun setting. My heart is beating in sync with the movements of leaves swaying with the rythm of the wind.

-It's been a long day without you my friend... a song from the Furious 7.. played from my phone while I was wearing a headphone "how could we not talk about family when family is all that we got..." I was mouthing those lines when I noticed the man in front of me, smiling.. ohhh shisssht.... I was mentally cursing when I realized, I must have spoken it loudly. I can feel my heart skipping beats, maybe from the embarassment or maybe because I find him attractive? Shaking the thought away, I can feel my cheeks heating up. So to stop the embarassment I returned my gaze to the beautiful scenery outside.

I am a little introvert outside work and I easily get shy when someone would look, even more stare at me. Although I don't let it often show I'm kind of used to suppressing emotions but it would really make me anxious; I am now when I can see from my periphery that he is still looking at me. But it didn't take much long when I reached my destination. "Thank you!" I silently gasped and hurried my way to the bus exit.

     But then again my anxiousness grow again as I noticed someone is closing trail with me. I tilted my head a little to see that it was the man in front of me from earlier, from the bus. I paced briskly and hurried to my apartment building when suddenly I crashed myself into someone's chest, "Oii!!" I said in a nervous tone; he stepped back a little although it is of no use since I still panicked...

He quickly raised his hands up in a surrender gesture. "Hey! I know I looked like a creep right now for following you, but Aevey right? Dounhil?" He even mentions my last name. - "How do you know my name?" I inquired. "We went to school together in primary school; I.. ahh.." He scrached his head shortly and continued. "I was really thinking hard in the bus when did I know you because you are so familiar, then I remembered; that's why I followed you eventhough it is not part of the plan. My feet just kind of, you know.. uhh brought me to you?" He said and smiled goofily.

                 "You don't really recognized me?" - "I wouldn't be this horrified if I did, by the way you're an ass!" I cursed at him feeling like not myself for a moment since I am not really used to cursing at someone but this time is an exemption. I was so scared really, who wouldn't be? You were tired from work and someone out of the blue, who came from nowhere shows up in front of you. But he got me thinking.

Taking my time to look at him this close sparked my memory nerves. How can I forget him, he was my first friend at school when I transferred to Oldwood High but too bad I didn't finished the school year in the same school since I transferred once again because of my parents' work.
