A Kiss of Goodbye

32: No Holding Back

Days went by fast, my 5-day sick leave is about to end in two days. My parents went back home today. I don't want to tire them and asked them my personal space which they fully understand. They were hesistant at first but I've managed to convince them.

I introduced Gregg to them when he visited me a day before yesterday. They thanked him for all he did and asked us if we were together which we denied right away. They find him sweet and my mom was hoping that I will end up with him. Actually, I'm not against the idea only he's getting married which I informed her.

Today is saturday, I think I have fully gained back my energy. My parents left me with groceries and that made me busy sorting them. I will rearrange the stuffs from my living room today because I don't want to be reminded of what happened. "Hi, can I come over? Are you busy? -Gregg" -"Nope! Just trying to rearrange some stuff here. You can come if you like!" I replied. "Wait for me, let me help you! -Gregg" -"Sure, thanks!" I went to the kitchen and planned to make something to eat. It's lunch time already, I didn't notice.

Gregg arrived 1 hour after he told me he was coming and I made sure not to miss to check on the monitor. -"Hi!" I greeted him with expressive hug, I kind of miss him although I just saw him few days ago. "Hey!" He greeted and hugged me back. We stayed like that for a while feeling the lovely moment. "I missed you!" He sniffed through my hair and hugged me tighter. I breakfree from his grip and we went inside.

He brought some pizza and told him I ate already. He insisted that I should eat more to fully gain back my health. I don't want to argue with him and waste his energy. We ate the pizza he brought and I managed to trick him to eat almost all of it by striking deep conversation which he bought willingly, unconsciously.

I am silently gushing over his handsome face. Thinking how did I end up being friends with this genuine man. He possessed all the ideals of the man I want except that he is not free. I was interrupted from my thoughts when he lightly pressed his lips on mine. I feel electrified with his gentle touch.

We are making out passionately with no hint of lust. We broke free gasping for air both of us not wanting to end the kiss but have to for the sake of our lives. He looked at me eye to eye. I'm starting to feel insecure about my reflection having to look at him this close and clear.

"I," he gulped not breaking an eye contact with me. "I uh, I. Love. You. Aevey!" I am so lost with his words, my heart beats so loud I fell deaf for a moment. I don't know what to say. I just did what my body is telling me the right thing to do. I pulled and kissed him. We continued to make out for almost an hour our lips have become swollen and sore.

We proceeded to my plan on rearranging my stuffs; we finished right before dinner so I envited Gregg to stay over which he accepted without resistance. He couldn't stay longer after it though since he has to attend to the needs of their business. Being the trustee of his father's company, he is bound with responsibilities 24/7 with no excuses.

I walked him to the door and he bid his goodbye. -"Gregg!" I went after him before he could walk away. I tip toed and kissed him. -"I love you too!" I told him unable to hold my feelings anymore. We looked at eachother for a second before he grabbed and kissed me back. We kissed for a moment and told him, it's time to go. We hesistated to let go but have to eventually.
