Gregg's POV

I woke up to the glaring sunlight. I couldn't fully open my eyes so I rolled over to the other side of my be...d!? I scanned the room to see why it doesn't feel right! And then events last night immediately flashed on me.

I looked over to the sides of the bed looking for Aevey. I couldn't see any sign of her so I got up, light headed from sudden change of altitude but I don't really care, to see her is more important. I picked up my boxers and wore it.

I dashed through the living room. "Aevey, where are you?" I called out, my voice is hoarse and my throat is painful. But I cannot complain. Last night was one of my wildest dreams. I'm just a little sad that I was not in my sober self. I moved to her kitchen and looked around only to see a note that must be from her. -"I'm out for work! Make yourself comfortable. You can have anything from my pantry/fridge. -Aevey"

I am so disappointed not seeing her. I leaned towards the table for a little while and cupped my face. "What have I done? Did I hurt her? She must've hated me for taking something precious to her. Fuck! Fuck! Fuckkk!" I growled making small echoes around her apt. "Can you be more stupid than this Greg?" I'm talking to myself like a madman.

Feeling hopeless at the moment, I picked up my remaining garments and left her room. I will make this right. I hate my situation right now. First, my father and his chosen partner planned for the engagement. Now, I've hurt Aevey! I made a wrong move on her. It was not one of my plans to sleep with her especially in drunken state. I just came by to tell her how I felt for her. I've only met her not long ago but her effect on me is undeniable, unbearably strong that I want to be near her more often.

I drove back to my apt. and prepared myself for work. I would be sluggish all day. I couldn't concentrate. My mind is racing back to what happened last night. Her sweet aroma still lingered in my nostrils. The way I made her scream my name, it's all I have imagined. I gulped as I recalled the taste of her juice. "Hhhhhmmm." I mentally moaned.

-Uhuhh,, hhh!...(someone coughed beside me) and woke me up from my day dream. I saw my best mate Nikk peeking on me. "Somebody got laid last night?" He asked in hushed tone. I shot him a glare and he gave me a playful chuckle.

The day goes by so slow and there were so many meetings that took place in the company in line with the additional operations and whatnots but my mind is solely focused on making it up to Aevey.

"How do I make this right for her?" I sighed as I leaned back on my chair waiting for the day to end. "How do I even make it right when I'm about to get married?!"

I have to loose myself from this marriage trap. I don't mean any disrespect to my father but I have to make decisions for myself. I am fully aware that our business is going downhill. There are so many competitors emerging. "We just needed new strategy not a new partner." I muttered. "New strategy. That's it, new strategy." I said excitedly.
