Gregg's POV
"Greggor son, you need to come home, your mom is not feeling well and you know how she is." My father said from the other line. I didn't even mutter a single word and I pressed the red button. I am really upset with my father for getting ahead about my personal decisions. I am worried about my mother, she got into an accident and left her in trauma. My father has to take care of her that's why he wanted me to take over the business. He's a loving husband and a good father.
But you know how sometimes business is good and how sometimes it's bad. So he paired up with another company and to seal the deal, they agreed to marry off their children. I am already 25, I thought he has confidence in me that I can fully take care of the business without being reliant on others influences and I am still 25, I don't want to get married yet more importantly someone I didn't choose.
With that I thought about Aevey. I couldn't really believe it was her. She was my first love the one that got away so quickly. I know I sounded like a child right now and cheesy. Who wouldn't like her? Besides being smart and kind, she's beautiful. Now, she has petite and slim figure, from the looks of her, she has to be about 5'2, a foot shorter than me; not that I mind her height, she's funny and still smart considering that she got to work in a very prestigious medical company.
I couldn't forget about her naked body. I am hoping that she didn't notice my badboy growing under me that night. Don't get me wrong, I'm a man of desires and I have desires for that kind of figure. She has a face of an angel. Small round eyes, slim button nose, her cheek bones are in good place and full lips. Too bad, I wasn't able to have much taste of her lips when she kissed me. Damn it was sudden and unexpected. She must be attracted to me as well, I hope so; because who would kiss someone out of the blue without being attracted to?
Just thinking about her calmed my nerves. It's been almost a month since I have heard of her. I was busy taking care of the business and she must be busy with work. I really thanked that day my car broke and chose to get into the bus. -(Phone ringing).... "Son please get home as soon as possible, mom is crying non stop and she's been looking for you. She has been restless since the day you left. Greggor let's talk this over." I am just listening to my father from the other line.
I am going home the next day, I do care a lot about my parents. They were good parents until that marry off incident. Man, I felt betrayed but I just have to set it aside for now.
