Chapter 9

T'Challa's POV

 Wakanda is almost back on track in terms of restorations from the aftermath of Thanos' snap, the snap that wiped out half of the universe's population (myself included). I assigned M'Baku's army to merge with Okoye's recently. The two armies work better together rather than apart. It also shows equality with both men and women being in our armed forces. They're all amazing warriors and Wakanda values them very much, I value them very much. Nakia recently moved into my home with my family and I. I wanted her to live close by so I can see her more often. she has her own private quarters right across the hall from me. Tradition states that we shouldn't share living quarters until we are to be officially wed.

    Shuri is hard at work in the lab installing some new video chatting features on some of our most common devices we use here in Wakanda. She believes not only should we hear someone's voice but we should also be able to see their faces when needed, even during times of danger. She recently formed a friendship with Peter Parker and video chats him a lot. I think she has a bit of a crush on him but he has a crush on some girl he goes to school with. I hope she loses the crush on him and just sees him as a friend soon. I don't like seeing my sister's heart get broken. Plus long distance relationships are tough. She should date someone who lives closer. Someone who could potentially be a good match for her is the White Wolf, Bucky Barnes. He's a little older than her but they're pretty good friends too. 

       Age gaps aren't a big deal as long as the partners involved in the relationship are both consenting adults. Bucky is over a hundred years old but appearance wise he doesn't look a day over thirty. He's a strong fighter and visits here often. I'll try my best to match them up at some point. I can't force my sister to go on a date with him but I don't think she would exactly be repulsed by the concept of it. 

Shuri's POV

 My brother thinks that I'm lonely but I'm not. I have plenty of friends that are fellow heroes and/or geniuses. I'm really good friends with Bucky Barnes and Peter Parker. I have a little bit of a thing for Peter. I think my brother wants me to go out with Bucky because Peter might like someone else, a girl named MJ he has mentioned to me before. I won't give up on a relationship with him until he directly tells me that he only sees me as a friend. As close as we've become in our friendship, he definitely owes me that. 

   I'm currently in the lab improving some common communication devices by installing video chatting features into them. Some of them already have that feature but the feature could use some improvements. I'm Shuri, the biggest genius in Wakanda. There is no form of science that I can't handle. I still haven't had the chance to work with Dr. Banner in the lab yet but I really hope to one day. I'm saddened that I'll never get the chance to do that with Tony. I didn't know him well but he was loved by so many people. He made such large contributions to society and the world will never forget him. His legacy will no doubt forever live on. Rest in peace Tony.
