Castiel's POV
It's only been a week since they've stripped me of my powers and I could feel myself growing weaker. I was in my room trying to think of all the ways to get it back. Although I partially deserved it, I shouldn't be grounded from my powers! He even called my dad and he gave me a stern talking too. So did the rest of the team. They still kind of trust me...I think. Except for Echo. She had to go to the infirmary. You stab your cousin once and now you're the bad guy.
I watched as Chaos began to climb and jump over everything. He climbed onto the dresser of Leanne's. "Chaos. I don't need them thinking that I'm worse than I already have."
He looked me dead in the eyes...and knocked over her lemon statue. It fell to the ground with a crash!
I sighed, "You're a brat."
It purred at me and pounced onto my bed. Right then the door opened. Leanne and Echo stepped in.
"What happened to my lemon?" Leanne picked up her lemon which had been broken in thirds.
"Ugh, nothing. Tiny earthquake," I lied. "Couldn't stop it because ya know my powers are gone." I had hid my cat underneath my pillows.
"I'll believe it was an earthquake when fat pigs fly," Leanne stared at me.
"It wa-" the cat's tail flicked out from under the pillow.
"What's that?" Echo slowly came over to me.
"It's nothing," I panicked. "I'm a furry!"
She eyed me, "I would've known by now." She tugged at the pillow. A meow cafe from that little brat.
I sighed, "Okay, fine. I'll tell you the truth...but you can't tell a soul." She nodded. I removed the pillow from my lap.
Echo's eyes got wide, "WHAT? A cat?! How come you can have a cat but I can't have my panda?!"
"No, it's just that-"
"But f you think about it, that's a cat. You have a panda. One has been domesticated for a while, the other is most likely exotic." Leanne interrupted.
"He's not just a-"
"But still. The rule is there are no pets on campus. It's totally unfair that he has one!"
"I know and we can talk about it," Leanne spoke.
"GUYS!"
They both got quiet and looked at me, "What?"
"First, nobody on campus knows I have him in my room. Okay? And he's not just a cat. It's just what he chooses to be...most of the time. But you can't tell anyone I have Chaos or they'll take him away just like my powers."
They both cocked their heads. "So," Echo started, "they don't know you broke another school rule. And have been breaking since when? Since we got here?"
"Yep," I nodded.
"Well, it's unfair that you can have pets but we can't," Leanne put her hands on her hips. "And your pet shouldn't be breaking things."
"I know, but as I said I can't do anything without my powers."
"So...if we help you get your powers back...you can get me my panda?" Echo asked.
"Yes," I sighed. "And fix your lemon."
"Wonderful lets go get it-"
"Wait," I stood up. "You were one to get me into this whole mess anyways. Why do you want me to get them back now when I can finally help you?"
