Third Person POV
Location - New York City.

She walked into the kitchen, only to see her father on the phone (once again). Probably a business thing...again...She hates his business. The Stark Industry.

She loved how he was successful. She got to live the life that most kids dreamt of. She just hates how they took him away from the family.

She rolled her eyes and made her way towards the fridge. She listened into the conversation as best she could before her father noticed.

"I don't know how I feel about that. It's been 17 years. We've all left, and it's time we just called an end to it." There was a pause. "I don't care. She's just a teenager. She's not going to be doing any of that...well sure I do...that shouldn't matter...no...no that's not...you know what? Fine. She'll do it."

She quietly closed the refrigerator with a cheese stick in hand, what's he planning?

"Yes. She'll be there," he ended the call. She smirked and opened her cheese stick rather loud to catch his attention. He zipped around, "How long have you been listening?"

"How long you been talking?"

"Funny."

"Yeah, I found it quite amusing."

He chuckled and sighed. "I should've known. You are my daughter."

"And your daughter would like to know what's going on? Do you need to leave again? Does Mom have to go?" She slowly pulled the cheese apart.

"Well," he paused as if trying to find the right words, "I used to work with this one industry."

"Before the Stark Industry?"

"During," he explained. "We used to...save people the best we could. Time passed and we were of no use, so we all went our ways. Turns out they are recruiting for reinforcements. They were looking for the old ones."

"Yeah," she ate her cheese. "I know about you being a superhero."

"Wh...How?"

"I saw your secret stash." She giggled. "Your huge hunk of metal seemed slightly ridiculous for a super suit though."

"Hey! That was custom made," Tony had seemed slightly offended. "And you know not to go through my stuff. It's private."

"It's about as private as your life," the teen mumbled.

He sighed and rubbed his temples, "Anyways, they offered for you to go. It's free schooling and self-defense. I told them you'd go."

"Great," the brunette huffed. More time away from family. Who needs one anyways?

"I know you might not like it per-say, but you'll meet a bunch of cool people."

"Like who? Your ex-girlfriend? She's seem more interesting than your ex-boss."

"Actually my ex-girlfriend never was one...that's besides the point. You're going, and you leave in a week, Theodora. Better pack now."

"Better pack?" A bit smaller teen came from around the corner.

"He's making us go to a stupid school to learn how to save the world. Ridiculous, right?"

"Actually," Toni laughed, "that sounds amazing! How many people will there be?"

"A lot, kiddo. And I'm glad you're actually wanting to go."

Thea glared at her father, and shook her head, whilst her little sister was smiling away.
