Third Person POV
"So...are you ready?!" Brooklyn zipped up her dress for the contest. It was dark blue, ruffled up in the front, revealing her tan legs. She put her hair up in a bun. She learned how to make the best buns and ponytails from cheerleading.Thea came out of the bathroom in a red, high-low, skin tight dress, "I guess. Do I look fine?" She moved the barrette back slightly in her curled hair.
"Yeah!" Brooklyn smiled. "Oh! Can I do your makeup?"
"Sure?" Thea eyed her excited roommate. Brooklyn clapped and drug her into the bathroom.
In the next room over, the girls were also getting ready. Nicole put on a black tango dress. Artemis, being Artemis, placed an ice cube on her roommates bare back.
"Omg stop!" Nicole jumped. "That's not funny."
"I thought it was."
"You need to get ready," Nicole rolled her eyes. "The contest is in an hour. We need to be down there in fifty minutes."
"Ah, I'll make it," she went to the closet and picked out a green dress. "Besides, I'm basically already ready. Look at my hair." She pulled out a single curl from the hundreds on her head.
"But it'll give you something to do," Nicole spoke-sang as she strolled into the bathroom.
Artemis rolled her eyes and slipped into the felt dress. She tried to hide it, but she was very excited about the tango contest.
In the next room, the gods were getting ready. Echo was dancing around the room as her and her cousin got ready. She was already in her dress: a mint green, flowing like a princess gown; long sleeves were connected to her dress so it made almost (like) wings.
"You're too much cousin," Castiel straightened out his blazer.
"Too much?" Echo giggled. "You're too little."
"Too...Huh?" Castiel came out of the bathroom and watched as his cousin twirled around the room. "You are going to get sick before the contest even begins."
"Oh impossible," she smiled and sat on her bed. "Look cousin! I'm one of those fairytale princesses these mortals love so much!"
"You're much better than a princess, Cousin," he scoffed. "You're a goddess."
Her eyes went wide, "A goddess princess!"
"Dear gods," he rolled his eyes and went back into the bathroom.
The boys in the next room were doing what everyone else was. Alek was rummaging through his closet, "Tau? Castor? Where's my button up?"
"I thought it was downstairs in the dryer," Castor buttoned up his last button on his beige dress shirt.
"I asked you to go get it," Alek groaned, sitting to slip on his tennis shoes.
"No," Castor argued. "You asked Tau."
Alek turned his roommate, who just slipped into some black dress pants. Tau shrugged, "I wasn't paying attention."
"Come on, dude," Alek stood up and ran out the door. That just left the other two.
"We should all share the money," Castor spoke up as he walked into their bathroom.
"You just say that because you know you're going to lose," Tau put some stuff into his hair.
Castor came out of the bathroom with his red hair swept to the left with gel, "Maybe. Or maybe I want to be nice."
Tau gave Castor a look. Castor just nodded and went over to his bed. Alek came back within a few minutes. He had his shirt in his hands and was in a rush. Within two minutes, the boys were ready.
