Thea's POV
I glanced down at the phone in my hand. Saturday, October 30th. 10:55 AM. I had to be in the classroom by 11:05. I had ten minutes. Was I going to make it? Doubt it, but I still had to try."So, where ya headed?"
I groaned, "Does it matter, Denvers?"
"I mean, I guess not, but I'd sure love to know."
"I'm sure you'd like to know a lot of things," I smirked and kept my pace.
"Oh, come on. You tell me everything," He stopped in front of me, only stalling me for a second before I went around him.
"Trust me, I don't tell you everything."
He gasped besides me, "But I'm your best friend."
I giggled, "Sure buddy, sure."
He grabbed my hand, and gently pulled me into a hug. I became as stiff as a board...also became very uncomfy. One of the things I don't like is unasked for physical contact. "I know I'm your favorite best friend. You don't even have to say so," he whispered.
"Preston," I whispered, "I have to go. And people are staring."
He chuckled.
He better not, or I swear to god...I began to walk away when he began to sing out to me.
"NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP. NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN."
God he's so off key. I kept walking toward my building trying to keep my face out of sight of people's eyes.
"NEVER GONNA MAKE YOU CRY! NEVER GONNA SAY GOODBYEEEE!"
I ran inside as I heard him laughing from the outside. I rolled my eyes and began to run up the stairs. It was nearly 11:00 and I needed to go up five flights of stairs. As I rounded up one, a face popped in front of me. I screamed before noticing who it was. I smacked him, "Castiel! I told you not to do that anymore."
"I saw what happened outside with Denver Colorado," he chuckled.
"Oh I'm sure you did, because lots of people did too," I tried to walk past him, but he stopped me.
"I also heard you guys talking. Why didn't you tell him you were going to see Shuri?"
"Because I'm not...Wait a minute. How do you know I'm going to see Shuri?"
"I read your journal."
"You...You what?"
"I read your journal. It's very fascinating how-"
I gripped him by his collar and lent forwards, "I thought you didn't like going into people's rooms."
"I...I don't-"
"How much did you read?"
He looked only slightly frightened. I was going to make him fear me. Even if it was only for a second. "All of it..."
"If I catch you reading it, touching it, looking at it, or if I found out you ever took it again, you'll be turned into dogshit. Understand?"
"I don't think-"
"And if you tell anyone about what you read, you'll be wishing you were dead. Do you understand me?"
"I-"
